  is this website some kind of true ex-jw site, or just a cleaverly laid out apostate site??

  no, i'm not an active jw, but i'm still curious who's site this is.

  i read a few articles/essays, and some are ok, some are weird paranoia, even more than the jw's.

  To sin against the Holy Spirit

  matthew 12:31-32 says, "every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven.

  anyone who speaks a word against the son of man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the holy spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

  do you feel as if you are sinning agaist the holy spirit in any way in your life?

  First of all I thought most of Christianity believes they are one in the same.....so how could you sin against one and not the other?

  God, Jesus, Holy Spirit in Christianity (Trinity) are not one in the same. The three 'persons' of God, make up God. JW teaching make out the Trinity is impossible, laughable and stupid. They try to make out that it as total pagan origins. But the question is, where did the pagans get their Trinity from!? I only thought about after coming out of the JW cult.

  What Would You Do With 18 Million Dollars???

  hi everyone.... just abit of a fluff thread really.... in australia there is an 18 million dollar lotto draw happening on the 15th of february... .

  it got me to thinking... what would i spend it on???.

  i know that the first thing i would do is pay off all my debts, buy 2 houses, one to live in and one to rent out, buy a new car, put money in trust funds for the kids and give some money to my family.... that still lives at least 10 million dollars... i would have to go on an around the world holiday (first class all the way) ok take of a million... .

  here's something fun to think about.... since being da or df or just not going to meetings, have you readjusted your language?.

  i'm taking about "going back" to saying things like.... "wow, you were lucky.".

  Yes, As a JW you tend to have a superior attitude and try and "speak proper". I think my Yorkshire accent as returned to normal.

  Speaking the PURE LANGUAGE........once again............NO not that "pure language", I mean Yorkshire!

  I if you right click on the files and select - save target as- It is possible to download each one directly to your hard drive. Which cuts out having to use a FTP Client.

  Just saw a 'Ghost' or something....

  ok the weirdest thing just happened to my coworker and i. we went to go pickup our breakfast from accross the street.

  when we got back to our building we walked over to the elevators and as we turned the corner we saw someone get into the elevator before it closed.

  we didnt see the person exactly but we saw their leg or whatever passthrough before the door closed.

  Same thing happened to me and a friend before I was drawn into the WT world.

  Me and a mate was on our way to the Bus stop (going night clubing)

  About 100 meters from the Bus stop, I saw a harm stick out from the shelter (shelter -made of bricks) as though a bus was coming and like the person wanted to stop a Bus.

  We arrived at the Bus stop to find nobody inside! I thought I had just imagined it, so I asked my friend if he had just seen what I had seen. To my amazment he said he saw the exact same thing too!

  Explain that you non believers! LOL

  first, i'd like to thank everyone here that has befriended me for your kindness and support.

  having you to talk to after leaving the org made the shunning of everyone i ever knew and family much more bearable.

  i initially came here for emotional support due to shunning and also to have questions regarding doctrine answered, which has been accomplished.

  tonight my daughter and i went window shopping at dockside imports then swung by super walmart to pick up a new pair of pajamas for her to wear.

  i pulled into the parking lot at walmart, and parked rather far back, as the entire area was packed with cars.

  we goofed off, and i held her as i went skipping along.

  As I type I have a few tears (don't want to sound to soft, ) Thinking of what your daughter said about thr stars.

  Although my parents were good and brought us up right, with love........All my Bro and sisters have feelings of never being good enough, simply because we never seemed able to do anything right (when it came to Chorse(u.s) earning our pocket money (uk)).

  I remember never being praised as a kid, just pulled down mostly when the "Job" was not good enough!
