by Brummie injust got a ps'one with 13 games off ebay (i'm so out of date with these things huh), cost with postage inc was 43pounds...have i been robbed?

It sound like a good price to me, especialy with 13 games.
You can get new P1 games for about £6 and up.
6 times 13 = 78.............I hope you got busta move in with that? If you haven't go out and buy it, it's a simple game but very very addictive. Be prepared to have some very late
morningsnights going to bed though, you will see what I mean!I have a P2 myself, Grand Thief Auto Vice City is excellant.

Genesis 3:15 and 22:18. We remember, Jesus Christ did not descend from "Eve" as a fleshly descendant. He came from heaven above. He was free from sin, he was perfect. But MDS did descend from Eve, as a sinful descendant.
Where did Mary decend from?
The NT say's that Jesus had half brothers and sisters! It would not say half brothers and sisters if Mary had not produced the egg?!!!!
The geneology of Jesus' decendents went back to Adam and Eve. He was called son of David........

Brings back memories, the U.S pics anyway.
My wife thought that after visiting Brookly and Patterson I would then change my mind about stopping attending meeting etc; it did the opposite. Like Balistic I thought..........look at all the real estate!
There are African JW who have to travel miles to KH's and assemblies only to sit on planks in 100+ temps. No monies = no beautiful buildings. You would think the borg would GIVE funds to 3rd world JW's so thay can at least have a nice KH!
Uncle Onion ask me on my return to the UK what my first thought of Patterson was.............To sum it up in one word, I replied, Wako!

That's just not fair,
I always wanted to visit Canada, maybe one year. Vancouver, I saw slide show of Vanc.... at a Bethelites mother and fathers house, after he'd been there on a visit ( I live in the UK). He had taped Killer Whale noises and played them back to us, whilst we looked at slides of a boat trip, Whale spotting. I've seen them in captivity at Seaworld Florida, magnificent! Even better I guess in the wild.
Now I am thinking of visiting this summer! Any room for an Apostate and his JW wife?!

The mystery of the Materialising watch! ………TRUE STORY!
When I used to work underground as a coal miner, we could only take mechanical (no electric powered watches down the mine. For obvious reasons.
I had just purchased a cheap watch, of which I kept in a snuff tin to keep out the coal dust. I used this watch for a few weeks always keeping it in my waistcoat pocket. One Friday I was at work down the mine (as we called it…”I wuk darn Pit” as we would say in the Yorkshire tongue), it was the Friday before the Pit was due to close for a number of day’s, about four or five I think.
At the end of the shift we all would race to the pit bottom, from all area, in my case it was about 2 mile to the up cast shaft to get out. We would try to get there as quickly as possible, even riding the coal conveyor belt, which was very dangerous, but much quicker than walking. The aim was to get in the queue early so to get out quicker, mainly because as soon as you knew it was escape time the Nicotine addiction would kick back in!
Anyway, when on arriving back in fresh air, I remembered that I had left my waistcoat with the watch in. I could not go back until after the Holiday. That was that I thought I would never see them again. They would probably be taken before I could get back, as there was at least one more shift of worker after ours.
To cut a long story short! LOL, after the holiday, I when back to my locker, go undressed into my nudy suit, with my towel over the shoulder and soap! From the clean locker, we would then go into the mucky (dirty) side, that where all the overalls were kept, in the dirty lockers. In my dirty locker was my work gear, ready for a brand new week. Low and behold in one of the pockets the snuff tin was pulled out, complete with watch!
I thought I must have been mistaken and left only the waistcoat down the Mine.
I know some of you will think I am making this up, but on returning to my work place that shift, I found the waistcoat. GUESS WHAT! Inside the pocket was a snuff tin and inside an identical watch.
Do you know the Twigh Light Zone theme music? Well think of it playing now!
What do you make of that then everyone?
I just cannot explain it!
Anyone else experienced something like this?

Farkel..........The problem is proving that such is so, since there are so many other explanations for it. I don't totally discount that possibility, but I don't embrace it, either.
Every expert likes to theorise. Just way can they not just be a bit more like you!
All I meant by that was being open minded (skeptical) is not a bad thing. We were very closed minded has JW's, the problem is we can still be that way now XJW's.
