Since replacing my Laptop with a decent PC, I hardly go on the PS2. the PC is far better, until it crashes that is!

A mate at work wanted to swap my PS2 for an XBox. Trouble is he had to ask permission from his girlfriend first! He has not got back to me about it!
I play Midtown madness on my PC with a Gforce 440 (128 ddr ram) it's fantastic.
You should try Delta Force Black Hawk Down and Operation Flash Point. Wolfenstien Enemy Territory is good too for on-line gaming.
The Xbox can not match a PC can it?

Just had huge arguement outside hall....
by Gadget ina few days ago i sent a message to an elder(one of the ones from my jc) asking him if he could get in contact with my girlfriend because i was very worried about her.
after the meeting tonight he asked if he could have a chat with me outside the hall.
he explained that he could not get in contact with her, as she was out of his jurisdiction.

I can not believe the Elders reaction to your request. Jurisdiction and all that, shows how stuck to rules and regulations they are!
Shame your girlfriend does not live near me. You could have kipped at my house, without having to worry about accommodation. Still can if you are in the area.

I like this one best...................4. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone, 'Code 3 in housewares,' ... and see what happens.
Even better, do all 10 with a copy of the WT and Awake clearly one view.
Thanks for that, they are great ideas. I wish I had the guts to do the Mission Impossible one!

Ever been conned by smallprint? Dixons/Currys Coverplan
by Brummie ini brought a top of the range lexmark 73 printer/scanner/copier about a year and half ago and got it covered by coverplan mastercare.
it cost me approx 230. .
the coverplan insurance told me that if it broke down i would get full cover for parts and labour or a brad new top of the range printer.. it broke down and without even looking at it coverplan told me to "throw it away" and they will send me vouchers to replace the value.

The Sales staff are on commission for selling the extra cover. They will tell you half truths just so you will buy the warranty. I bought a Laptop from PCWorld about 16 months ago, the sale staff said if the Laptop goes wrong and it can not be replaced, it would be swapped for the latest model with the equivalent price. The stinkin Laptop is at the repair shop as we speak, for the 5th time since I bought it.
The first problem was Window XP home kept going blue screen (too often). The second time it overheated and burned out the motherboard and processor, which was replaced. On return I was still having over heating probs, it went away again. The "repair" report came back with no problem found! I consequently had to order a cooler pad for it from the States (see http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/47294/1.ashx) This did the job for a while until a couple of months ago it would turn it's self off, yep, when it got hot again! Not to mention the screen would go blank till you tilted it at the right angle. I arranged through Coverplan to have it repaired once again. I got it back 2 weeks ago, it booted up fine the first time. The second boot, I could only get it to stop on in safe mode. Like I said earlier it's being looked at once again. They called to tell me that it's having a new main-board and new RAM and have ignored my diagnostics that I think the hard drive is fault too.
Time will tell if it works OK this time it is returned!
