yes I guess I could say I use to think that way. We get snow In Nebraska but there have been a few times where it was brown or the snow that was on the ground was dirty looking. This year it doesn't matter it will be christmas INSIDE.

White Christmas, QUESTION?
by zev inin my part of the world, it *usually* snows in the winter time.
also, because of that fact that it usually snows, dubs were inclined to hope for no snow at christmas time.. they felt that it was a good thing and would ruin christmas for those celebrating it if it didn't snow.. (at least thats how i interped the remarks i heard.).
how did you feel about a white christmas when you were a dub?.

Going door to door in extreme weather
by JH inthis morning as i got up, it was 0 f outside.
this morning at 9 o'clock as usual the same witnesses will go door to door at this temperature.
i already saw them going door to door at -25 f. i wonder what it would take for them to say it is too cold or too hot to go out in the field service?

we use to live in North Dakota and some goofy CO's wife said it looked tacky to wear boots out in service so there were a few sisters that actually froze their toes more than once, not me I was one of those low hour publishers, when it was cold out I didn't go out.

uh, you could plug them in before you put them up.
also buy one of those reels like for extension cords that you just wind up when you are ready to put them away for the year..

Nice some parts of the day, I help the neighbors when I can, pick up garbage around the neighborhood. buy my family what they want and cook what they want.
naughty at least some time during the day.
on funniest videos a lady had put a rubber band around the sprayer in the kithen sink so when the person turned on the water they got sprayed. I did it to our middle son and recorded it. LOL
in the afternoon I let our neighbors dog (an expensive Vizula, sp?) in the house so when he finally noticed she wasn't around, calling for her I let her out. she's such a cute pup.

#2 and this year ours is in blue , blue lights on the house and on the trees in front. during the day the dubs can drive by and see little red bows all over those trees and wreaths with bows on the garage.. we have a decorating contest in our neighborhood, I'll let you know how we did.
Oh and #6 i always bought a new something and the boys always had treasure hunt presents, just not on that day but during their vacation they would have to search the house for them. one note led to another, it was always something they wanted and it kept them busy. they still love doing that. and I may do it for their grand finali present this x-mas on that day.
