I messed myself up...
by MC RubberMallet inthe past few weeks have been hectic.. but i went through an experience that has messed me up since.. i met up with an old friend one day who i know went apostate.
it was a really bad day for me, which was really bad for me since i've been taking ttatt as a speed bump but still moving along in life with an ok adjustment.
he since brought a really nice house, cars, new job, everything he always wanted without feeling guilt.

Could Assemblies Be Wrecked?
by metatron inassemblies at the reading pa. assembly hall are getting disrupted repeatedly by somebody who keeps pulling fire alarms.
many witlesses blame it on "apostates" - rather than the dissolute teenagers who used to do such things in my day.. there are lots of things that so-called 'apostates' may do to disrupt assemblies including bomb threats phoned in, swat teams called, printed green insults stuffed into collection boxes etc.
add prohibitions against strollers and you have lots of reasons not to attend and thereby avoid the annoyances.

Don't do anything that involves fire/police, such as fake threats and alarms. Those officers and firefighters are no longer able to take a real call that could happen at the same time and it could get someone hurt.
Beyond that, disrupt away! Stinkbombs are a great way to clear a room.

Well, I am a strong advocate for MJ legalisation (not trying to start a debate) and I get high almost every day (I hold a professional job and you would never know I smoke unless I told you). But to everybody out there, don't EVER try this "legal weed" spice, k2, bath salts stuff. It is horrible, it is not anything like MJ or even acid, which I've only tried twice 15 years ago. Anyway, every bad thing you hear about it is true, I know hardcore drug users (cocaine, meth) that won't even touch the stuff. Just my word to the wise.
MC don't freak out. You had a bad high, but you will be ok. Consider it a learning experience, you tried something and you know you don't like it. Just because it helps your friend doesnt mean it will help you. Everyones different, hopefully you find a way to cope with your experiences.

Have a new friend, turns out that she was recently DF'd

this girl that i've known for a couple of months was talking with my husband and me the other day about sex and marriage.
she's going through a divorce and said that she doesn't believe in pre-marital sex.

That's awesome Tweetie, its so cool that both of you have found each other. I hope your friendship lasts a long time and you can help each other having had a similar background. I got a buddy I know personally on this board and we help each other too since we have someone to talk to about our experiences and what we have learned about the org. Sounds great!

Haven't attended KH in 3 months...
by 2tone ini haven't attended the kingdom hall in over 3 months now.
it really is a great feeling.
no dreading the thursday night or feeling like your weekend is wasted because of sunday morning.

Congratualtions 2tone. I just hit my one year mark ( I have been inactive longer, but one year of no meetings) and it does feel great. It is amazing how thinking for yourself works out as you progress. Yes witnesses are crazy in that they always assume that if you are alone with someone of the opposite sex you are going to have sex. They pent up sexual frustration with JW's may make them more susceptable to that sort of thing, but I have plenty of female friends that stay at my place even and it doesnt mean we had sex, but if a JW, stopped by, you know they love to assume the worst.
Keep moving forward, sound like you're doing great.
