I remember in Pasadena in 1963 there was a Billy Graham crusade nearby at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The dubs took great pride in besting his attendance each day. My favorite memory as a 9 year old was the day we took off to go to Disneyland! I also remember staying at the Huntington Hotel, one of the great old hotels of that day. But the best part was leaving Sunday night before Knorr was done because we had a train to catch!

If you want the best pizza in Chino, go to NY Pizzeria on the east side of Central just south of the 60.

Will YOU Make Room For It? RoadTripII
by Know_You init is with a mixture of joy and sadness that mrs know_you and i depart john and eunice's sanctum of sanity.
truly their home is an enclave of peace in this mad, doomed, sybaritic world.
what a contrast to the spiritual lunatic asylum inhabited by the apostates with their shrill cacophony, their puny fists, like the men of babylon, raised in anger to their creator!

If it is true that the BethelBoys monitor this site, I suspect that KnowYou will be appointed to the Writing Committee very soon!

you know
by SpiderMonkey inhello... i've been away from here for awhile, and probably will not be getting very involved here again, but some things have got me wondering lately.
i don't know if you know's still around, but, if so, i have a couple of questions.. you know: correct me if i'm wrong, but i seem to remember your saying that you'd read ray franz' book "crisis of conscience.
" i'm not going to debate the propriety of your doing so, as one of jehovah's witnesses, but i'm very interested in what you think of his reasoning on various points.

The Watchtower certainly is God's one true organization,
How do we know?
Because the Watchtower organzation teaches the truth.
How do we know they teach the truth?

"Elders" are Managers!
by VM44 injehovah's witness elders are really managers appointed by headquarters to manage the local operation of the kingdom halls.
forget all this "spirit appointed" stuff.
they cannot make a decision without following wt directives, or checking the wt bound volumes, or contacting brooklyn itself..."hello service department?...help!

The "Elders" are not competent to help people with family, spiritual, or emotional problems. These "Elders" consider managing the affairs of the local congregation more important than any severe problem a Brother or Sister might have. They are imposters, given a fake mantle of authority, not earned by any ability other than an ability to present themselves as a "Watchtower Man," ready to support directives and policies of the almighty WT organization no matter what they are.
Sounds like Walter Karasek. Remember him?
