I went to my first Hypnotist show last night. I was amazed at how much it was like JWs
by life is to short inok i was a born in and never watched or touched anything to do with hypnotist's as we are told to avoid them at all costs and i always followed all the rules to the letter.. so yesterday we have the county fair going on and they have this hypnotist show so i went to it.
the hypnotist called up about 15 people on stage and tried to put them under.
about five of them he just could not put them under so that left about ten people on stage.. of those ten the hypnotist could do almost anything to them, it looked like it was staged expect one of the young women had been sitting right by me and her friends were right next to me, so it did seem legit.. the hypnotist had them fall asleep and when they were in that state he would tell them that when they woke up they would react to key words he had said to them or when he touched his face a cretin way.. it sort of freaked me out because it was like how i was in the religion.

Not sure why people like this types of shows, they are not funny at all.
Just shows how vulnerable some people really are, and that refers not only with regards to this sect, but movies, books, the news, etc. All of this has an effect on people’s minds and obviously people that want to control society would not miss the opportunity to use this for their own advantage.
People that uses these techniques to manipulate others are the ones with very serious mental issues.

WT and the Illuminati - truth or fiction?
by SnowQueen ini've been reading around this subject of late and it seems to make a lot of sense.
i'm wondering if anyone is convinced and/or has seen anything that can substantiate or corroborate the 'facts' set out in these arguments.. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/bloodlines/russell.htm.
i was particularly fascinated to read the following:.

That would explain a lot of things. It is clear that there has being a campaign against the Church starting with the French Revolution and continuing in the XIX and XX century.
The WT has participated in trying to discredit the Church. And in comparison, what do they stand for? Ignorance, control and lack of love for neighbour.
I stand by the Church, Illuminati and/or Masons make me uncomfortable.
The Church builds things, churches, schools, hospitals, charities…Illuminatti just destroy.
Whatever they want to build after that, will be based in their esoteric and mostly crazy beliefs, and achieved through bloodshed and injustice as their history shows. Thanks, but no thanks.

5 Rules for Diagreeing Agreeably
by skeeter1 inrule #1: give others the benefit of the doubt.. maybe this person has made the outrageous generalization isn't really insensitive.
maybe this person has had a painful experience that made them overreact.. .
rule #2: when disagreeing with someone, always take resonsibility for our own feelings.

What did you eat when you moved out if you didn't know how to cook?
by Aware! ini'm male, in my early twenties, and i don't know how to cook.
if one day i blow my cover i will have to move out and fend for myself.
my question is what frozen meals or quick fix meals do you recommend for a single guy?

The Myths of Disfellowshipping
by Londo111 injj allowed me to send him an article for jwstruggle.
i know this might not be everyone's cup of tea on jwn, and i hope this doesn't smack of self-promotion, which i find distasteful, but i hope it might bring comfort to some who have found themselves the victims of judicial committees.

Thanks for posting this Londo111, I feel very sorry for anyone that allows these losers to decide, judge, or discipline them.
I have decided to disfellowshipped them, but unlike them, I don’t need to announce it publicly, or stop talking to them if I see them in the street, or keep a written copy of the verdict.
They are gone for me, and the place I have sent them is HELL.
