I always had a problem with this stupid rule which I never followed, and I also never viewed the brothers as my head. My understanding was that only married women had a head.
It's the sister's fault that this stupid rule is even possible.

8) changed wt's long standing view on headship within the congregation.
wt used to view all baptized males as being the head of all baptized sisters.. this view led to such absurdities as a sister having to wear a head covering on a bible study because her baptized 10 year old son was sitting in on the study with her.

I don't remember thinking about apostates at all.
When they were mentioned I used to regard them as crazy or evil, as they were always doing crazy or evil things such as disturbing Conventions and critizising Jehovah's Witnesses on the TV.
And here I am, posting in an apostate website with an apostate name.
