  Where Are You From?

  alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

  if you are going to post please at least devulge your country.. me, i'm originally from taranaki, new zealand via auckland.

  for the most of this decade i have been living & working in brisbane, queensland, australia.. .

  Drugs....why?

  im new here, so go easy with me!

  just wanted to know if any one has any idea's or personal experience in regard to drug and alcohol abuse in former jw's.

  all the one's i know have just lost the plot when it comes drugs and alcohol, especially drug use.

  I have been fading since November 2014.. i never had a drinking problem bit have fallen into a drug addiction in April 2015 and haven't been clean sincevthen. To the outside i live a normal life and nobody around me knows anything about my habit.. it has become a Highlight in a grey and dull life .. one of the only enjoyments in my current life as run down as it may sound. Having an emotionally unstable JW mother and an abusive (non jw) husband ain't pretty :(

  My advice for you to get reinstated is to tell the elders how it is your heartfelt desire to be back in peace with Jehovah.. and thst you keep praying to him to allow you back into the cong so that you can serve him again fully and get back in peace with him. Express this as your main motivation behind your desire to be reinstated. DONT tell them you just want to have your family back as the main reason (it is your reason but no need to tell the elders this ;-). The elders may interpret it in such a way as that you lack spiritualiy (TM).

  Like this you may speed up the reinstation process.

  Ill keep all fingers and toes crossed for you.. xxx

  ok so we have all be jws so that isn't unusual.

  supply pictures if you can.. i have ridden an elephant.

  ok so it was at the zoo but it was still an elephant.

  1. travelled to a country in war

  2. spent a 3 week vacation with 2 friends sleeping in the car the whole 3 weeks, washing ourselves in rivers, lakes or at the mc Donald's disabled restroom ;)

  3. moved to a foreign country for 4 years just to see how life there is

  is there anyone in here who has converted to Islam or who may consider it? My husband is a muslim and I would like to speak with folks who understand this religion. I didn't start a new thread hence just pushing up an old one. Hope that's ok... Please no attacks or outcries how mad I am to learn about this religion/to be married with a muslim. Peace Salam
