Years ago. there were no laws standing on abuse or child abuse. Women and kids were second-class citizens and that is still true today in many areas of the world. So cases of abuse and incest went unreported or children had to put up with relatives and parents abusing them. Many in the law turned away from doing anything or let the perp off with a warning to go home and repeat...the same way the elders handle a case..

When someones conscience started to work, this all changed but then crimes went underground. We know sex crimes take place, people try to stop it, but those who are seedy characters still commit these wrongs. The Bible speaks of many sexual issues yet nothing is mentioned about a child being abused yet anyone with a moral compass does not need to have a scripture to protect an innocent. The two witness rule was discussed among adults of the age- parents were responsible for a child and as such, their protector. Why do parents allow their children to go with someone in a congregation they think they know?? Even to the bathroom alone during a meeting or assembly? There are still states that do not have laws to report these crimes..why? Org is taking advantage of these loopholes to not report..Times have changed and so better the org or bankruptcy will follow along with 50% of their pubs- that appears to have started

Clan? This thing is huge Tons of Hewn lumber -tons of food and according to the bible, food was the last thing gathered = 1 week!! How?? done by Noah, 3 sons and four women.. Three levels, massive area to cover per day

If all the animals were babies perhaps and grew for the year they were in the ark, but never full grown.. elephants, etc. eat tons of food a day- babies much less

All those cages--fed, watered cleaned every day 24/7= where did they dump waste? Smells - must have been immune to odors

Fresh Water - from where? Did Noah and family eat any protein or just the grains and milk from goats? Eggs too perhaps So many questions.......

don’t know if it was part of the script.. at the memorial the remark about growing annointed numbers including this numbers from 2015 to 2017 was made (from 13.000 to 18.000+).. reason for the growing numbers could be:.

- feeling annointed because of former believe.

- psychical reasons.

Sign JW Data Protection Form Or Else!

in spain (and the rest of europe), the "improved" data protection laws come into force on 25th may 2018. this is a good thing and sadly america is still lagging behind; not surprising with their current president!.

watchtower legal department are hot on the case and have instructed elders to hand out the new "release" forms out to all the publishers in their groups, whilst making it clear to them that they won't have any privileges if they refuse to do so!.

Transferring Congregations

what is included in the publisher cards and other information when you transfer from one congregation to another?

i was privately reproved and may be moving to a congregation where there are brothers i rather not know why i was privately reproved.

is the fact i was privately reproved visible but not the reason why?

Would all the service and comments be forwarded electronically to new cong with an overview?? and in Canada, would that be legal ?? We do have a privacy policy here..

If you go to the doctor or dentist or whatever, you are required to sign a form allowing them to share information with insce companies, etc... I cannot remember that I ever signed such a form for being a witness to have my private information sent to those I do not know...

Brothers be damned = with all the bad stuff coming out now.. who knows how it will be used.

It was actually re played four times -- on CTV2 and another affiliate- started Saturday MORNING AT 6 AM East Coast and later Saturday and sunday

Well covered - nice to actually see Candace Conti but I do agree they should have been dressed better for effect. Not necessarily shirt and tie dressed but neat and tidy.... decorum dictates not org rules

The police officer was very accommodating although I don't think the groups interrupting the meeting was appropriate, it was private property --they did that In Georgia, Russia

It's always nice to see a well dressed individual, no matter what the occassion

Unfortunately, as the moderator said, the class action suits have not yet received approval to move forward. Justice moves slow.... and does anyone know if Trey Gundy is involved in the class action??

the $4000 a day fine then seems to be dead.

For the years I have been in the "truth" I have only heard that people who commit crimes goto police and take their medicine before becoming a witness. because it would be an affront to Jehovah - the name witnesses bear....Now if you were to be a child of 5,6,7, and up, in a loving congregation and a brother started to fondle, want oral sex, rape you- what do you do? Your parents don't see the danger, we trust everyone, kids trust adults because they are conditioned to do so. These perverts are smooth, cautious like snakes and out to deceive - yet the good old boys club -even when they know-- put these people in place to take advantage of kids - I know because it happened in our congregation.....yet the parents IF they tell others to keep their kids close, can be disfellowshipped for gossip? Does that reach into your heart and tear you to pieces? The society has known about these cases for years- incest, etc. You are coming from the wrong place. If you are a current JW or work for the org, you have a lot of soul searching to do.. Watch the ARC and see where a GB member lied to the court on simple issues. and please don't use the wt on how Jesus deflected direct answers. Jesus would not allow child abuse in any form.

Apparently the org sees kids as liars.. and some may be.. however the mountain is building and now there is a class action in Canada and Trey Gundy is a U S lawyer involved in the case..

Do some research on your own.. there is a lot of cases from the courts - not the media - that show where this is heading.

Our congregation alone - small - gives approx $2000 - 2500 a MONTH to society,,,, multiply that by 55,000 a month worldwide.....I take half the number of ww congs as many cannot afford even that, and ours is small potatoes...

The increase in the Anointed Ones

to illustrate how the botchtower's groupies are losing brain cells...last year an elder told me some of the increase in the anointed is due to those who have been unfaithful and needed to be replaced.

when i was in first grade i knew that if i had 10 marbles and i lost one and a friend gave me a marble to replace the one i lost that i once again had 10 not 11 marbles.. jdubs are very good at not thinking..

Stats say 1 out of 3 have mental issues so that leaves very little room for the GB doesn't doesn't it? Ken ?? was just placed on GB so that makes 8? At least 2.5 have a problem-- and they discussing the "generation" and GB. in this weeks meeting --has a video regarding the generation and how it was reached.

Apparently, there are still issues with this teaching....

OH and it also says that Jehovah will be anointing others in the future???? As if 18,000 + isn't enough...they know they cannot control what is happening and still say the end is just around the corner.... whereas it was always that when we see the anointed decreasing to zero, the end will come, it is now reverse
