Isn't Henrietta Riley something to do with the WT and has been for years??? That explains the necessity as to why 8 million witnesses were told to get covid shots. Wonder if the shares of the company went up? and the shareholders were paid in blood money.... many died and so many are now showing symptoms of other health issues caused by the vaccines- not only JW's. Liver, heart, cancer, chronic fatigue symptoms that mimic CF. Long haul covid and on and on..

Changed behavior of the governing body on the topic of “vaccinations” in the Covid era
by Pedro ini'm looking for an explanation why the gb has made a radical change on the issue of vaccinations.
was there pressure from outside?
were there any financial or other benefits to promoting experimental genetic therapy?.

spirit directed organization
by enoughisenough ini was watching a video about wt and money and the "brother" refers to the "spirit directed organization.
" he also says they use donations wisely and modestly.
are the gb so deluded and therefore their followers?

Everything was always done through/by/ the holy spirit...right? Well, in all their wisdom, they ignore the holy spirits importance when asking question 2 at the baptism talk. That was it for me.
While the scripture says baptize in the name of the father, son AND holy spirit, that has been changed to father, son and Jehovahs organization... so now that questions everything they have stated in the past and in the future, even one's baptism status. By throwing the wording "holy spirit" out, they have no business ever mentioning that they are guided by that same holy spirit. That calls into question their relevance as an organization. That calls into question any articles, any guidance, any "new light", an anointing by holy spirit for their elders, ms, co, COBE, governing body appointments.

How my awakening began.
by MissDaSilva inabout a month ago i started having a clear out of old clothes, books and bric a brac etc….. i don’t know what came over me but i decided to chuck out all my old jw literature because we literally have no more room.
it started with magazines, then books, ministry literature and once i started, couldn’t stop.
weird right?

Speaking of cleaning, I am doing the same, torn front pages out of the books with our names on them and checked throughout so garbage would not know where they are coming from, burned mags and now am looking at the mound of printed off pages with the New Light crap plus , plus, on them and getting ready to burn.
No listening to meetings, no going to meetings, no service, no donations. Feels so good after all these years. I did however, keep some of my collected bibles I obtained - not WTBS- just cause I like to read once in awhile.
Doing a lo key fade - but it still feels good.

What about letting sisters wear pants?
by Ron.W. inso there was nothing in scripture about brothers having beards... do the 'scriptures condemn sisters wearing pants'...???.
excessive control.
the september 2016 watchtower article "does your style of dress glorify god?
-
truthlover123
Oh and jeans skirts, dresses - and in the frigid cold winters some places have, pants are a necessity.
The 2016 WT above says not to burden with detailed lists- but that is what they have done for years. Remember, no colored shirts for men? All of a sudden, it was there right before their eyes, they understood! Did the holy spirit they no longer recognize in the baptism question 2, finally show them New Light?

Jehovah's Witnesses suing Dutch State for discrimination
by Tahoe inhttps://nltimes.nl/2023/12/11/jehovahs-witnesses-suing-dutch-state-discrimination .
the jehovah’s witnesses have sued the dutch state for discrimination, the religious organization informed trouw.
they consider it discriminatory that the government investigated them, but no other religious organization, for their handling of sexual abuse cases.. utrecht university conducted the investigation involved, following publications in trouw in which sexual abuse victims within the jehovah’s witnesses described what happened to them, and published the results in january 2020. utrecht university concluded that 60 percent of sexual abuse victims were very critical of how the jehovah’s witnesses handled their cases, scoring the handling a 1 out of 10. many victims were traumatized by how things were handled, the researchers said.. sander dekker, then the minster for legal protection, ordered the investigation at parliament’s insistence because the jehovah’s witnesses failed to arrange an investigation themselves, as the catholic church did at the time with the deetman commission.. the jehovah’s witnesses cooperated in the utrecht university investigation but unsuccessfully tried to stop the publication of its results.

If lost, would there be court costs, etc. they would pay? If so, does anyone know how much?
Looks good on them - all they try to do is divert by saying out loud they are innocent -and call out other religions or organizations that do the same thing to blind they pubs eyes as to what is really going on and look like they are fighting satans world against the courts and media

No Divine protection for Jehovah's Witnesses' gatherings. JW Death toll rises around the world.
by Balaamsass2 ingrowing up as a jw in the 1960s and 1970s, a common refrain from the yearbook, local elders and circuit overseers was how jws were protected at meetings, conventions, and in the field service by "the angels".
experiences of "divine intervention" during service, ww2, in communist lands, and conventions were common.
the internet and google are regularly debunking this myth in the 21st century.

Anyone hear of the experience when two brothers were at a door and there was a hostile homeowner but they stood firm and saw and angel of Jehovah strengthening them?
Probably would never happen if it were two sisters..
So many experiences they come up with, I am wondering just how many are made up. I can picture them around that table thinking them up and saying, put that in a talk, or a mag or start a rumor.......you know how the gossip mill works...

Retirement
by jehovaxx inthe difference is now blatantly obvious, older ones who went against direction of the gb and planned for retirement have relatively more comfortable lives.. those who trusted and followed gb direction never got further education or training, pioneered or spent most of their lives knocking on doors for free, making just enough to get by in a part time job.. if you followed direction from the gb then you thought the end was just around the corner so no need to plan for retirement.. now these ones have indeed got old which they were given the impression they never would.
they are a burden on others.
the state has to pay for them in their old age.

When 1975 came and went, that is when we starting looking for a full time, pensioned company to work for. We found them but so many suffered after that time. But we started with the buy in of company shares, pension account, etc. got a little smarter. SInce then, no complaints just comfortable, no wasting of monies since then.

Jehovah's Witnesses are suing the Dutch state for discrimination
by jochie injehovah's witnesses believe it is unfair that the state only investigated their handling of abuse cases, and not other religious organizations.jehovah's witnesses have sued the dutch state for discrimination, the national government told trouw.
the reason: only their handling of sexual abuse has been scrutinized by the government, while other religious groups remained unaffected.
they find the fact that only they were the 'target' unfounded and therefore discriminatory.. the fact that a religious organization is suing the state is 'fairly unique', says special professor of law and religion paul van sasse van ijsselt.

are they crazy? I always had to laugh when they pointed the finger at religions re CA issues, stating they are of satans world. Now it is happening to them more and more and they are going to try to win this case to push it in the face of every JW how clean they are. Hopefully the Dutch government is ready with files up the ying yang to put them in their place. When they are found guilty, what part of satans world are they?

The "Problem" With Zoom
by XBEHERE inhere is the org's problem with zoom, attending this way does not fit with their "scriptural definition" of a christian gathering.
at least not anymore, one thing my pimi wife is fine with is attending on zoom occasionally, even 2-3 times a month or so.. if some of you recall, during covid there were break out rooms setup for people to stay on and associate.
many would also stay in the main meeting and talk over each other trying to say hello, etc.

Normally 30-+ on zoom/phones. On a recent shepherding call, we were asked when we may be going back to the hall.
I said, I would not be. Many a time prior to covid, we would sit in the hall and honestly, there was always someone who would be sick with a terrible cold or flu sitting nearby. Something I would never bring to the hall with elderly and autoimmune people. Within two days, one of us would be sick for several days or weeks, depending. But never a call to see how we were doing when we missed x number of meetings because of it. My reason for not going back is due mainly to the fact that no matter what they are carrying, they seem to need to be at the meetings passing their illness on to someone else- especially now that covid has caused so much misery and continues to do so with the three new variants on board now. I asked if he would come to the house to care for us should we get covid.... crickets.... never heard that question again.
