To my knowledge, the WTS has never said "you can't" or "don't" invest, it has simply cautioned that doing so carries certain risks and not to invest in a way that demonstrates greed. Sorry, this just doesn't strike me as conspiritorial or hypocritical.

This came up with a friend of mine that is fed up with being harassed by one of the elders. My friend still believes it is the truth but I don't know for how long. My friend told me that there needs to be some kind of recall mechanism for abusive elders if the congregation doesn't want them as elders anymore. Good luck I told her!

You will never see your accusers and seldom know who they are. Thats the standard no matter what the Society says. I've only known of a few that ever knew who accused them.
