Waiting and Safe,
Thanks,
I kinda figured Kent was having trouble with his board or maybe I was at the wrong db.
I'll keep checking back.

whats your earliest memory?.
i can remmember going to see my new-born sister in hospital when i was 2 years old.. funny thing is i remmember , remmembering that i remmembered things from the past as a 2 year old , but i carnt remmember the actual things themself.. i hope that makes sense.. i wonder if i can access earlier memories by some technique?
I remember quite a bit from two years on.
At 2 my parents seperated and my mom had to get a job.
I remember them fighting and I remember being taken to a strange home were a woman babysitted me and several other kids instead of being with my mother at home.
I remember later when I was 3 and mom and dad were back together, telling me she had a baby in her tummy.
I was going to have a brother or sister.
I didn't really understand.
I have lots of memories from the end of my third year on because thats when this baby business became a reality for me.
I got a sister.

<fluff> .
at the book studies?
they were the highlight of the month.. thing is, all the sisters would try to outdo each other making nice food, which amused me no end, and also kept my stomach filled up, but drove me nuts, because my mother would spend the entire afternoon making a giant racket in the kitchen and screaming @ my sister whilst doing it, just to bake a cool cake for the book study.. also, remember those last ~15 minutes before the end of cake night book studies?
We called it "snack night".
My hubby was a bookstudy conductor for years and on that night we would have only a 40 to 45 min study and no one ever complained about about breaking early for "snack night".

i have been lurking on this & other boards for a couple of years.
i am an elder in the u.s. we had an elder's meeting last week where we read a 7 page boe letter.
i have a copy in pdf format and would like to post it here.
Welcome to the board doinmypart!
Don't let the sceptics upset or scare you off.
You see we have been fooled here may times before by imposters and troublemakers.
I congradulate you on coming foward to help however you can.
When my husband first posted on the old h20 board he was the
Po of our cong.
He risked his neck many times.
He stayed in for along time trying to occomplish what he could for the underground.
It was hard and took it's toll on him and me both and finally it became impossible to keep up the sharade any longer.
The time he stayed in as PO accomplished so much and he doesn't regret it and neither do I.
You are at risk and I completly understand where you are coming from.
Don't tell anyone more than you are comfortable with.
Is your family with you or are you alone right now?
My husband was about a year ahead of me on all of this so he had to take it slow to try and keep our family together.
Just a warning there are also many here who still suffer over mistreatment by the elder arrangement and those who rebel against leadership and so don't take kindly to elders or even ex elders.

Now, just when I loose all faith in the Bible being inspired the rapture had to happen leaving me all alone on this desolate db!
Don't leave me here!
Please leave me the new web address to heaven so I can join the rest of you.
I get the feeling that I am very behind on what's really going on as usual.
At least I can be my own best company when the need arises.

hehe, all my best threads usually have all-caps in the titles.
this one's a doozy!.
i went out to this nightclub near my work last night (saturday night), and i was having a good old time, when i decided to sit down on a big, flat futon couch near the entrance to one of the dancefloors for a while (it's an outdoors club!).
Syn,
Are you sure it wasn't the booze that made her look like that?
Seriously though,you said that she
.......left him because he was too "controlling"I'm thinking if that were really why they split up she wouldn't have gotten away with what she did right in the ex's presence.
The whole thing seems strage to me.
She had some kind of game going and you were part of it.
I really think she was using you to make him jealous and when she felt the job was done she tried to scare you away with a story of pregnancy and the ex being right there.
I'm sure you don't want to hear this, I could be wrong but I don't think so.

i always need a pen in my hand when i'm working - i jot things down and do a lot of scribbling (i'm sure a psychologist would have a field day with my doodles).. over the last few weeks though all my pens have been disappearing.
i blamed angharad who had borrowed them and not put them back, she thought it must be the kids who wanted to draw with them (they've discovered a great paper supply which i like to call 'the printer') but they said they hadn't.. this morning, the culprit was discovered .... i put my pen down on the desk and up popped one of the cats, picked it up in it's mouth and calmly walked off with it.
we followed it and found a stash of them behind a kitchen cabinet along with a good selection of the kids stickle bricks.. now, i just need to teach it to bring them back!
Simon,
That is funny.I have the same problem but haven't found the culprit yet!
Now for my professional advice.
Your kitty is hoarding things and this could be a sign of something serious like OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) or something else.
He may need to go to a kitty therapist or a pet psychic to get to the bottom of this behavior.
