  Homework: what do nations think about america?

  i would appreciate any input from residents of other nations for this homework assignment, as well as americans.. what do members of other nations really think about america, compared with what we percieve them as thinking?.

  Q? Is violence a product of logic, or emotion?

  is violence a product of logic, or emotion?

  for example the guy who stomped the old gentleman to death in a parking lot, the men who beat their wives, children, and stepchildren to death, the barroom brawls, and gang activities .

  are these acts of cool, unbiased logic?.

  Help me save my mother!

  my mother was disfellowshipped 20 years ago for taking up smoking again when she was going through difficult times, no one from the new kingdom hall we were attending (had just moved out of state) bothered to help her at all, just gave her a few weeks to quit or be disfellowshipped.. at any rate she has spent the last 20 years in hell, believing she has betrayed her god and hoping she dies before armageddon so she'll have a chance of resurrection!.

  if someone can tell me where to get access to irrefutable proof of the societys association withe the un, and their statement regarding their withdrawal, i believe she will see the error of their ways and start to live a full life again.

  this association is something she has not heard of at all, but i cannot bring it up to her until i have documentation.

  why disfellowship homosexuals . . .

  why does the organization disfellowship homosexuals when tho homosexuality is against 'biblical' mores it is not illegal and it is an issue involving consenting adults .

  .. whereas pedophilia is not only illegal and immoral by societal and biblical standards but is an act of the worst kind of assault inflicted on an innocent helpless child by an accountable adult?.

  Thinking about writing the society

  never cared to bother before, thought it was rather funny that they still had someone on the books who been studying diverse religions and belief systems .

  read tarot cards etc.. but the last week or so that i have been a member here, reading all the horrible, atrocious, unpardonable behaviour toward family members the organization encourages toward df'd da'd family members .

  remembering throught you alls related experiences the deep-seated damaging fear they instilled into my life .

  don't know if this is the appropriate place to post this it certainly isn't a jw belief and i don't believe in believing (much of anything), but i'm always theorizing always speculatin' and heres a particular speculation i've been hypothesizing for some while now, something a really powerful post in this forum inspired me to throw out here for your perusal.

  whatever the reaction, your sure to have one!.

  think about this, you know suffering, struggling, forging on .

  this is an absolutely insane site, i love it!

  week before midterms (4th semester, great city college..phi theta kappa member transferstudentdoncha'know,look at me i'm worldly..hellalujah!!

  "bit about myself") so my head was already aswim and these postings are fast and frantic, can't keep up but i will probly post (however illucidly) during this next week (i dolove my procrastination techniques).
