How old were you when you were baptized?

reading hellriders topic made me wonder about this.. i waited till i was 21 because i was drinking alcohol as a youth and didn't want to get baptized while breaking the law.
man that is screwed up, seemed reasonable at the time.

I have seen the Watchtower (or awake) maz. that six year old had been baptized in central or south america.

actions taken by Russell which are engraved upon the pages of

Kingdom Hall Spankings
by JH inmost meetings i went to, children were brought to the washrooms in the back to be disciplined.
often i could hear a child yell or cry due to the spanking given by the parent.
people in the hall would have that look on their face meaning that it was alright to discipline a child by spanking him.

The first 18 years in Baptist church and class, I was never spanking even at home. I still goes to baptist church since 1946.

WEDDINGS AND FUNERALS
by moses incan a baptized witness attend a wedding or a funeral of a relative or loved one if it is in a place of worship other than a kingdom hall,is there a penalty for that?

I remember some time ago, my friend who was a witness (not full time), die from illness. He work with large company. At the funeral service at Kingdom Hall (his mother request), there are very few witness attend (I attend and count the head, 12). He was bury and give service at grave with many people from work (over 100). Where was he bury? At the baptist church yard (his will request this). Oh Yet! Not one witness show up at the grave service.
I am not witness (never will be).

What is the Watchtower Educational Center?

"putnam county - the town of patterson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed watchtower amended site plan may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a draft eis must be prepared.
a public scoping session will be held on may 30, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at the patterson town hall, po box 470, 1142 route 311, patterson, ny 12563. written comments will be accepted until june 13, 2002. the action involves expansion of the existing watchtower educational center with the construction of two new residence buildings, an office building, additions to the audio/video building and a new maintenance building which total 172, 500 square feet.

I understand there are also have the residence building for WTBS people who live and work for Gilead School, legal dept, estate planning dept, art dept, video Dept, questions from the readers dept. They pay rent free. Any body whom go to school will have to stay at hotel (low rent fee).

The judicial meeting on cell phone usage during a meeting will be held on Saturday.
What the hell they need the judicial meeting on cell phone during the meeting? Do they give a pat on the back for hero job?
They don't want the cell phone allow inside the Kingdom Hall. This is crazy.

I agree with you about child molesters. My daugter is one of it. My wife was a witness for about five years. She left last year went it happed to my child. We file with the police and had arrest the elder. Last June, he was found guilty and Judge will set the jail term this October. No, he is not on bail, still in jail.
Now why the witness have happy face? Because the WTBS required to keep the lip in upper case. This elder had it all this time in court. He findly drop the lip went Jury told the Court he was found guilty. Will let you all know in October about Elder jail term.
