  why does god allow this stuff?

  according to your teachings, believers, just so he can stroke himself and show how man has failed.

  in fact believers will read this stuff and shrug it off because in the future god will fix it it and it just proves why we need god..

  it hit me a few days ago.

  what happens if the u.n. searchs iraq and they find nothing?

  i mean it's kind of scary to think what will happen to bush's job approval rating if that happens.

  the 50 year thing was just an illustration of how the arabs in this area feel.

  true the question is of how far you want to go back...but remember this is only 50 years ago...if this was ok then you would have to agree wiht any current occupation (including kuwait by the iraqies, poland by the germans etc.)

  why do you think these nutcases blow themselfs up? its because they are desperate and have nthing to loose....like the kamikaze in WWII...as long as you have diplomatic options or military options or economical options you don't go as a suicide bomber. these guys simply don't see any other possibility to resist the occupation. also...a) they are uneducated, b) they are poor, c) they are taught by fanatic islamists, d) they have no economy.....what kind of choices do you think they have?

  there have been many postings regarding the possible war with iraq.

  there are many strong apposing views, as to be expected.. i personally am going to thank all those who are in the military; my hat is off to you, and i respect what you do, and i am very thankful.

  you are the ones that must go out there and defend our freedoms.. i don't think most people desire war, but sometimes there seems to be little choice.

  but you ask the arabs to do nothing! if you look at the history it was the jews that started the damn thing.

  i mean consider the following situation.....in 50 years....china got super rich ...the USA is poor and chinese suddenly decide they want to make the US their homeland...they start to buy more and more land in the US and more and more chinese migrate in...then when they have 50% of the population and have superior weapons they start to deport you and the other white americans to the nevada dessert....and then when you want revenge and you want your land back and you start to kill chinese with suicide bombs (after your wife was killed during the deportation) you are called a terrorist.

  you can't just seize foreign territories without paying reparations to the original inhabitants.

  yes i know ...nobody like poor old nader :-) ...although he has some good ideas.

  honestly i think the devout arabs are nuts....but the reason why they hate the US so much is not the way woman live in the US or the freedom people enjoy...it is because of the US involvement in the middle east and especially the alliance with israel.

  and yes i agree..radical christians are no better than radical muslims...they are all braindead nutcases.

  hello crazy,

  the area was ruled by the turks...but it was inhabited by arabs...the same arabs that are fighting the jews now. it was not an uninhabited piece of land after WWI.

  according to the BBC and most other sources there were about 500.000 arabs (20.000 jews) in the region around 1900.

  one question remains though...does this include deactivated people? also some people have two three or more different names...so it would be interesting to see the actual number of people...counted by different IP address or something like that.
