the above link shows 164 verses in the koran that instructs the faithful to kill infidels.

in light of this, how can some still spout the mantra that this is a religion of peace and that it's only the "radical fringe" that are causing problems?

the koran and the old testament are primitive bullshit.

the new testament (that is what jesus supposedly said in the 4 gospels) is of much higher ethical value.

Unfortunately the few good parts in the bible were thoroughly ignored by the church and authorities for the last 2000 years. What christianity and europeans have done is far worse than what islam has done.

Regarding the current problems...is it islam that tries to control the west or is it the west that tries to control islam? the answer is clear.

2004 Service Report - Analysis and trends for 2005

by now, most of you will have seen the scanned images of the watchtower's service report for 2004. i do not have the feb 1st magazines, so i cannot speculate further on the reason for not issuing the report in the january 1st 2005 wt.

looking at the figures, there are some trends that should be considered very disturbing to the wt leadership.

although baptisms increased marginally by 3,571, the difference between the average number of publishers and the number of baptisms is eye-popping indeed.

the number of idiots on this planet is certainly not decreasing and thus the number of witnesses is increasing or at least beeing constant. how this is good news i don't know.

Is Jesus Christ and Michael the ArchAngel one and the same person?

i must admit that as a jw i never really swallowed this belief maybe because i was so young when i was really a staunch jw.

i would have born-again christians tell me that it was impossible for jesus and michael to be the same person and that jw's invented this doctrine.

fast forward to 2004 while i was reading a book on jesus i noticed that some of the early church fathers thought michael was jesus christ i almost fell out of my chair.

I can't fathom in my wildest imagination what is inside of a man that he can do these things to women and children. I wonder what would happen in any country if the "rules" were suspended and all bets were off. With no one watching, and no consequences for whatever you feel like doing....I wonder what would happen........anywhere

we forget that we are nothing more than semi intelligent animals.

did you see the incident at an US highschool where girls mistreated other girls? there you have the answer as to what could happen if the rules were suspended. humans can easily be led down the path of terror, rage and brutality.
