indeed it makes god seem very human, although rather immaturely so.
we expect such behavior from schoolyard bullies, megalomaniac dictators and small children who demand adoration from their beaten dogs.

what happens if the u.n. searchs iraq and they find nothing?
i mean it's kind of scary to think what will happen to bush's job approval rating if that happens.

as long as i can imagine something better it can't be perfect yet... about this universe: well why is it unstable? why will it either collaps or end at thermal equilibrum? why are there asteroids that will eventually hit this planet whiping out 90% or more lifeforms? why will the sun die in 5 billion years? why are there diseases? why is there suffering? why aren't we perfect? it seem God did quite a slobby job.

actually scientists do not say the world was ever perfect...where did you get that from???
the world was always and will always be a shitty (nevertheless the only world we have) place. come on...why did species die out billions of years before the first human came into existence? ...why is the universe itself imperfect (see above)? human activities did not alter the universal constants nor the matter distribution in the universe nor the laws it follows.

we got into a discussion that prompted me to tell her that there is no such thing as the faithful slave class and that it was all an invention of rutherford because the first "faithful slave" was dead.
so now everthing is a slave.

First Zionist Congress
The First Zionist Congress met in Basle, Switzerland, to discuss the ideas set out in Theodor Herzl's 1896 book Der Judenstaat (The Jewish State). Herzl, a Jewish journalist and writer living in Vienna, wanted Jews to have their own state - primarily as a response to European anti-Semitism.
The Congress issued the Basle Programme to establish a "home for the Jewish people in Palestine secured by public law" and set up the World Zionist Organisation to work for that end.
A few Zionist immigrants had already started arriving in the area before 1897. By 1903 there were some 25,000 of them, mostly from Eastern Europe. They lived alongside about half a million Arab residents in what was then part of the Turkish Ottoman Empire. A second wave of about 40,000 immigrants arrived in the region between 1904 and 1914.
