here is a change of pace, what was the nicest thing a jw has ever done for you or you have seen done?
it wasn't all bad all the time!
I was given lovely baby showers by a few different sisters.
When rumours were going around about us, a family we greatly treasure tried to be hospitable to us. I still really, really love them but we distanced ourselves from them and didnt go over. They were a very real rare witness family. One time in service the sister even told me she has doubts.
i tried posting a picture and link from woodstock harley davidson but it is not working the way i would like.

looks like the faithful jws are back in the basement, the oct 15th wt has this image on page 9. but now the lights have been turned out!
i guess the persecution is really kicking in if the electric company has shut off their electricity, or the jws are really, really paranoid that the government is gonna get them if they have the lights on!.
only one guy is smart enough to use his tablet (far right), the rest of the jws are old school, using a lantern to read their bibles in the dark!

ok bear with me for second on this one..... i was just reading the other day about "pitchf/x", a type of technology that can accurately track whether a pitch in baseball is a ball or a strike.. a couple of analysts went over 6 years of baseball data.. it turns out that umpires are wrong about balls & strikes about 14% of the time.
what they call a "ball" is really a "strike" about 13% of the time, and what they call a "strike" is really a "ball" about 15% of the time.
here is the article.. that's at the major league level.. umpires have to work their way up to the major leagues, just as players do.

i found these contrasts incredible, anyone who claims that following the watchtower's bizarre aloof teachings is a "insurance policy" needs to have their heads examined.
these people were once in line with the watchtower's leaders until they got tossed out of the organization during the great purging of anointed jws in 2012.. the more i am around the worldly people, the more i see how insane jws are and the lack of love they have.
their selfish, always wanting to mooch off each other, steal from their brothers and sisters, evade taxes, cheat and hate playing by the rules.
would it really affect them?
how would it affect volunteers at any construction project since that work would now be taxable.
any materials they buy would be taxable.
