I know, liberator. Wish i could have a do-over of my life sometimes, and this time a few guys in Brooklyn would have a lot less power over it. But here I am, and they have no power now. They only used to, because I hadn't taken a stand yet. Those days are over.

Liberator, for me the early 80's were significant too (tho I do know what 3rd gen is talking about...I remember the freedom and fun of the 70's, the individuality in talks and the large parties and picnics with people putting on variety shows and sports activities)...but back to the 80's, remember how huge the live forever book was? And the massive push for becoming a pioneer? Remember that circuit assembly where pioneers wore badges that said 'ask me, I'm a pioneer!' And they had special tables. If you were graduating high school and not planning to pioneer immediately, you were an outcast! And it was almost expected that you start pioneering while still in high school. The generation was 70 years old at least, and the bible said a generation was 70 or 80, nuclear war was imminent, men were faint out of fear! I actually hated it all and don't look fondly on those days as a witness, but for me, like you, the 80's was the ultimate time for witnesses, all seems downhill for them from there. -

Had a wonderful visit with Mr and Mrs Flipper Sat.
by 3rdgen ini haven't posted much lately because i got a new job at the end of nov. and it's taken much of my time and mental energy.
i still read though and care for you all very much so i thought i should let you know about the meet-up i had yesterday with mr and mrs flipper.. hubby got a call the day before from flipper saying he and his wife were going to visit his mother (who is in a rest home in my town) and would we like to meet up for coffee?
hubby couldn't make it but i was delighted to accept.. we picked a burger place not far from the rest home and where i knew jdubs don't usually hang out on saturdays.

while we may disagree with many of the doctrines of the catholic church, there was something interesting.. the subject was regarding the view by the church on abortion and contraceptives.
while the pope insisted in the absolute and immutable evil of terminating a pregnancy, he said that considering the risks presented by the zika virus, women in south america should consider contraceptives to prevent unwanted pregnancies that could end up in a child born with defects.

Help to build a "Guide to Your New Faith"

" i imagine that most people want to remain in a christian faith so i want to build a matrix for one to use as a guide in finding a new church if he or she feels a need to worship.
i personally don't attend any church and i will keep my personal beliefs to myself.

Welcome!I would just say, stick to more harmless 'vices' like light drinking, light swearing, occasional weed, disco dancing, cleavage baring (if you want), holiday celebrating, clothing with flags on them, voting, wishing people good luck, crossing your fingers, and toasting people at weddings. But! Stop the smoking. Seriously you need to take care of yourself. The world isn't necessarily ending in your lifetime anymore. Make your life long and healthy. -

Chris Brown definitely isn't as neanderthal as he seems. The humans who didn't venture out from Africa have no neanderthal in them, since neanderthal peoples were primarily in Eurasia. -

Masons, Tomas Jefferson, Jesus, ancient Egyptian religion, Russell
by Crazyguy ini believe the masons we're anti christs, tomas jefferson i read even wrote a bible leaving out anything to do with jesus because these masons new the christ was just a retelling of older god's, some of these gods being from the egyptian religion.. russell was said to be a mason and it's interesting that he traveled to egypt to confirm some of his beliefs.
then after he returns home his religion becomes more like that of the ancient egyptian religion then probably any other christians sect.
like the egyptians the jws believe in a two class system one class goes to heaven to be with god, just like the pharaoh's and the other rank and file class goes to a paradise called the field of reeds.

The kingdom interlinear is the most self damning thing the WT can publish. I wouldn't be surprised if they were taking steps to remove it. I know it helped me immensely in my waking up. -

DA letter sent... It was weird!
by Mandrake inwell i was telling you days ago that i wrote my da letter... i decided to deliver it myself to the elders.
it'a been about a year i didn't show up nor talk to the majority of old friends.
one of my best friends (who's is 2-3 years older than me, i'm 25) is now an elder... some times i don't understand him, he's an engineer from a prestigious university (the most prestigious universities here in chile, are 2, the one from where he got his degree and the one i'm attending)... he even red crisis of conscience and has doubts... but still endured inside.. my congo were based in our historic city downtown, so our territory was small... i parked my car near the hall and walked near for a while while the meeting was over.

Mandrake, remember only the good things about those people. That old sister who was kind to you, your neighbor friend. They would still have their good qualities without that cult, and you can dwell on them as people, in your memories, and not say goodbye to that part of them, in your heart. Does that make sense? It sounds like your life will go very well and I am happy for you.
