It’s now being talked about openly that the GB were wrong about the vaccines. They are not safe.

New website -Testimonies on the adverse events of anti Covid-19 vaccination campaigns among Jehovah's Witnesses.
by was a new boy in'jehovah's witnesses are heavily vaccinated due to guidance given from july to december 20211 by the governing body.many witnesses have had serious adverse effects following vaccination campaigns and, for the most part, have had great difficulty in expressing them and having them recognized.this website was made to allow each witness touched by these vaccination campaigns to express it so that the community takes it into account.'.

JWlite like being a Trekkie. You know it’s fictional
by ExBethelitenowPIMA ini now view jwlite like the trekkie conventions.
star trek is fiction and all the fans know this full well.
but they find it beneficial.

I now view JWlite like the Trekkie conventions. Star Trek is fiction and all the fans know this full well. But they find it beneficial. I like to think there is a small chance that the Bibles promises do have some truth to them, even though we don’t really understand
exactly the same for those of us in JWlite.
From Wiki - TrekkieConventions are an opportunity for fans to visit "another world...very much cut off from the real world...You can easily forget your own troubles.
This describes JWlite for a lot of us.- The difference is Trekkies know for certain there is no truth to it all in their lifetimes but probably all this technology will have some truth to it in the future.
- JWlite know for certain there is no truth to most of the foundations like 1914, but probably there is a God or something who may have had something to do with the Bible. Maybe the Bibles promises will have some truth to them in the future or maybe not.
- but for now it’s so encouraging and up building going along with the fictional world and it’s an excuse to get together and have great friends with a shared interest

JW-lite on Facebook
by compound complex ingreetings, fellow posters and friends:.
i have noticed that jws on fb post a great deal from their website.
it's ready-made witnessing material, namely, videos, links to reading materials, comments on the tv show, etc.

Yes we talk about sports, jobs and holidays. I don’t think anyone ever talks about the scriptures or ‘spiritual’ things at all.
but we all do find it encouraging and upbuilding attending meetings and gatherings.

With his history and reputation why is he talking about drawing boobies on his pictures with two little girls, that was his words and then another picture he draws what looks like a bare bum.
it’s more than a little worrying to say the least

Is there “new light” on 1914?
by wallsofjericho ini’m hearing paraphrasing like “we just don’t know” .
is this regarding 1914?
or micheal the arch angel?.

There have been a few almost imperceptible changes to their 1914 doctoral stance. Firstly they have said ‘about 1914’ instead of just 1914. Second they try and say Jesus was enthroned about 1914 but hasn’t yet sat down in the thrown, that will be in the future sometime.
So this does indeed look like a soft slight heading in the direction of a change to their 1914 foundations. But as soon as they try to have new light they will see that everything else falls apart.
It is inevitable that at sometime they will have to have an updated understanding and new light on 1914. Maybe another decade or a little longer but then it will be just to far away from 1914. But if they do then 1919 will fall apart and then the governing body being Jehovah’s channel on earth will fall apart.

The Next Big Thing In WT World
by NotFormer inthings got a bit lively after the agm leaks in october.
there was a lot of discussion going on on this board for a few months.
now that all the leaks have been more or less confirmed as policy, and we've had lively discussions at length concerning the changes, things seem to have slowed down here.. a few suggestions have been raised as to what might be the next changes, such as women being allowed to wear slacks (in the usa, anyway), decoupling from 1914 as an anchoring date and others.. so, what changes do you think will be announced this year?.

Fading is better then completely leaving...comments?
by Witness 007 ini got the internet in my house and realised it's all lies....but as a pioneer/ministerial servant i chose to fade.
see i had family and friends who were fully strict witnesses.
so i played the poor lost soul brother who is not sure what's happening.

You don’t have to watch your words being JWlite anymore than any other religion. We all have to watch our words in any situation anywhere.
You can now openly express that you are not sure about this or that. You can now say you think the vaccine was not safe.
only recently if you said the vaccine was not safe someone would say that’s just Satan trying to discredit the governing body.
but things have definitely changed now, you can openly express doubts, without being called into the back room. And even if you were called into the back room that is not going to lead to being shunned or anything. As long as you can’t be accused of causing division.
even if you were accused of causing divisions in the congregation you could deny it, saying you are not pushing your ideas on anyone else but just expressing you have doubts about the GB. If some elders wanted to push for a judicial committee then all you have to do is say that doing so would make you Suicidal then it won’t go any further

world war 111 ?
by stan livedeath inwell--with ww3 widely forecast--can we expect to see a large growth in jw membership ?.
-
ExBethelitenowPIMA
Some say WW3 had already started just prod wars for now. The difference this time around is you can’t have a nuclear power lose the war because everyone knows what that would mean.
How can Russia ever lose? They can’t.

You can have that weight lifted from your shoulders by choosing JWlite. Things have changed recently and those who left years ago don’t understand how much things have changed.
I can see some toxic advice on these forums from xJWs who did hard exit and advise others to do the same because it makes them feel better about their decision. Misery loves company.
The best advice is not to do a hard exit because you will be shunned for the rest of your life by all JWs.
Just do a soft exit either become inactive and still go to meetings/ministry or fade completely and stop everything if that’s what you want.
Do it in a smart way. Don’t write a letter and don’t go and say something that will get you shunned.
It’s surprising these days what you can say and stay Jwlite. For example asking others in the congregation “have you ever doubted the GB?” Depending on how they answer you could take it either way by saying “yes we know the are not inspired or infallible they are just doing their best”
or you could push a little more if you feel you may be talking to someone else who is also jwlite.
For me I want to keep a hope that the Bibles promises may have some truth to them, but I don’t think anyone has the correct understanding or interpretation’s especially not JWs. But JWs are great people and it’s a great social club. As time goes on more and more are like me.

Has The Interpretation of the Beast Changed?
by NotFormer inmy understanding* is that the un is supposed to be the wild beast of revelation.
the un only came into being after wwii, so what was the beast before the new light came about?
i can't see a speculative organisation like the wt not having an interpretation of the beast before the un came into being.
-
ExBethelitenowPIMA
I always thought the beast was the League of Nations before, this then became the UN? They teach it only came into existence in the last days so I guess 1914 again
