I can not remember his name.If I'mn not mistaken there was a WT in the early 70's that depictured people on wall street tossing paper or money out of windows.

UN involvement announced at Assembly?
by Simon ini heard from someone that the wts was going to or had already announced something about the un involvement at an assembly.
anyone else heard of this or is it a local thing ?.
i would guess they may have only done this because of the coverage in the uk national newspaper which they know they have to counter.

Boom Boom! Concorde Is Back!

i watched the first take off for over a year from london live on sky tv, and a few minutes later went outside where i heard the muffled double boom as alpha echo went through the sound barrier over the bristol channel on its way to jfk where it will be welcomed by mayor giuliani.. this afternoon,immediately following question time, prime minister tony blair boards concorde alpha foxtrot bound for washington and a meeting with george w. the flight will take just over 3 hours, so he arrives before he leaves, time wise.. there's no particular reason for me posting this, it was just a nice moment and i wanted to talk about it.
the thought that this great plane that many thought was finished landing at a place that some also thought was finished is rather pleasant.

Logic of God escapes me
by Amazing inin past posts i have placed god on trial by questioning two issues: 1) the issues in the graden of eden, and the severe punishment of the entire human race for a very minor act of eating fruit.
2) god ordering the extermination of entire cities, including every last man, woman, child, baby, and even livestock.. results: the result on this forum have be mixed as expected, but showed a range from suport to tryuionmg top explain these events with reasoning, logic, or plausibilities.

That is the things one can get disfellowshipped for : not accepting the flip flops. One day it was ok to have oral sex, the next year it was a sin , the next time it was ok then finally they said it was wrong. How many people do you think was DFed due to the changes. How about the generation issue that flip flopped many times, same as the King of the North and King of the South...if one questioned the flip flops you became marked as a trouble maker and weak spritually.
There are no minor issue to the org. one must be willing to accept any half wit explaination that the org. gives.
