does anyone remember the society saying if you have not celebrated your wedding anniversary before why begin now...it was in some sort of manner as that.
in other words if you had been celebrating your anniversary it is okay --but for newly weds, the boys in crooklyn they were suggesting not to start the ritual.. would appreciate date or article .

I remember talking about it with the body of elders; I can't remember if it came through a letter from the big boys or what, but I remember we all blew it off and that was the only thing we rebelled against--it became a joke, like our wives would kill us if we stopped celebrating the only thing we were able to celebrate.
I believe it was around the time they started suggesting the size of wedding and wedding receptions.

i often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.
while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).
a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.
He had a son serving at Paterson --his name is Roy. As far as I know if they were nephews it would have to be David or Daniel Nazaroff or one of his sisters children who are of another fine Russian name--Kolakoff?? spellingI think Nazaroff's nephew is at Paterson.
Hmmm. This kid was...I want to say Jonathan or something like that. And I'm sure it was his nephew.
