U2K... On what basis do you say one cannot have discreet tatoo? I hope your not quoting from the mosiac law? Because we are not under that Law. And if you say the Law does give us Gods viewpoint. That's true. But do you eat pork? You may say yes, because we are not under the Law. So basically you pick and choose which parts of the Mosiac Law you want to enforce and which ones you ignore because of convenience??? There's a word in the english language for folks like you. Its termed 'hypocrite'. And one more thing that adds to your hyprocrisy is that you cast judgement against someone just because they got a little tatoo. You remind me of the 60's when one had to wear white shirts. Heaven forbade if you wore a light blue shirt. You miss the whole point of the Law and the Scriptures.

Watchtower leadership say We Don't Make Rules!
by ozziepost inan announcement on the official web-site of jehovah's witnesses is causing some 'eyebrows to be raised'.. the watchtower society have announced that they "avoid making rules and regulations beyond those provided in the scriptures, and they do not follow traditions that contradict bible teachings.
emphasis is placed on personal application of bible principles and the value of a sound, bible-based conscience.. this comes as a surprise to many thousands in the jehovah's witness community who have become accustomed to the changing rules and regulations imposed compulsorily on its members.. it should be noted in the watchtower society's statement that "emphasis is placed on personal application of bible principles".
this will come as a surprise to many of its members.

Mulan, here's the struggle. Numerous have left because of one reason or another. I have seen the 'dark side'. the arrogant side. The side where just because one who has an 'appointment' says something and if we don't immediately comply, then there must be something wrong with us. However, I have also seen the side, kinda like the profile of the one you spoke with on the service desk, kinda like the David Splain type, whom I truly believe is the 'spiritual man' type, the type that makes you feel your dignity, your self worth, that your contribution amounts to something. Unfortunately, there seems to be more encounters with the 'idiots' and 'arrogants' than with the truly spiritual, humble, ones. Having said that, The question I constantly ask myself is,,,,, If this is not the truth, what is? Could it be that the only test I face, is putting up with the hyprocrisy of the idiots, and living a life like the scriptures indicate. Hey, I am not preaching to you....Just sharing troubled feelings, confused feelings. Sounds like, you are truly living up to your responsibilities, caring for aged parents. My, are we not fragile and frail? Keep you chin up. And keep us posted......

You got it Scully. Hit the nail on the head. Never been in Winnipeg but my sources tell me that the welder elder, I believe his name is Dee was responsible for four long time elders being deleted. All because they didn't agree with him. However, the majority in the hall highly respected these four that were deleted, and it created a real division. To the point where meeting attendances dropped, etc, and the only recourse was to dissolve the hall. But Mr. Dee G. continues on, even though he has a history of hyprocrisy. But, what else is new.

How about rymths with Fee Fratko, tee trapko? Apparently he is a real prize. One of those that can only be described as an abuser of power. He thinks he's a real trouble shooter, but the only thing he accomplishes is alienates people and he was the sole number one reason a congregation in Winnipeg was recently disbanded. Yet he continues to serve as an elder because he has a current Circuit Overseer named Sawnmore in his back pocket.
