seems we have to be careful about specific names..................yet the fatco's can do what they like.............. hurt whom they like..........the fatco's wife was in pioneer school and the co conducting commended a lot of folks in the class who raised good kids etc and didnt mention fatco's [although they had one gay one and one idiot one] specifically..............well...........my goodness...........all hell broke loose,,,,,,,,,,,,,,pressure was put on the co conducting the school to apologize to the fatco's or crapko's for not mentioning them.................well the co sent a letter out to all who attended apologizing for his omission...................but what a joke...........the dee crapko or dee fatco doesnt deserve an apology......................

DA'ing policy for blood transfusions?

it seems to me that this policy change has been secretly kept from everyone outside of elders.
in fact, the co read it to elder bodies, but nothing in writing was actually given to local elders to file in their talmud-of-society-letters!

Yep, its true. Its because its a 'conscience' matter in the sense that if ones conscience allows a transfusion then by that action they are saying they no longer want to be known as one of JW's. It is no longer politically correct to DF someone for seeking medical attention and methods. Much the same way if one votes, then by that action they no longer want to be known as one of JW's, cause if they were DF for exercising their constitutional right to vote that would be a form of sedition.................... get the point.

Ray Franz And Things That Are Too Hard To Handle.
by Englishman ini see that ray franz is coming in for a fair bit of criticism due to his apparrant unwillingness to accept that jw's had a problem with the existence of child abuse when he was a member of the gb.
also, it would appear that ray is being chided for his belief in the rule of 2 witnesses before action can be taken against an abuser.
it seems to me that it is quite likely that ray wasn't aware that there was a serious abuse problem within the society when he was a member of the gb, if only for the reason that ray would find such an activity so detestable that he would believe it to be a virtually impossible act for anyone to perpetrate.

With all due respect, I think B.B. has went beyond having a rightful grievance and actually fits the description mentioned at Matt 24:48,49, he sounds very vindictive and bitter. Sorry, I can sympathize but don't like meanies.

U2K... On what basis do you say one cannot have discreet tatoo? I hope your not quoting from the mosiac law? Because we are not under that Law. And if you say the Law does give us Gods viewpoint. That's true. But do you eat pork? You may say yes, because we are not under the Law. So basically you pick and choose which parts of the Mosiac Law you want to enforce and which ones you ignore because of convenience??? There's a word in the english language for folks like you. Its termed 'hypocrite'. And one more thing that adds to your hyprocrisy is that you cast judgement against someone just because they got a little tatoo. You remind me of the 60's when one had to wear white shirts. Heaven forbade if you wore a light blue shirt. You miss the whole point of the Law and the Scriptures.
