use your search engine to locate all the lawsuits pedophiles are filling up the courts with to say the "sex registry is unconstituional", "pedophlia is a choice like homosexuality is" and reclassification of their crimes.

consenting male adults is their choice, how can a five-year old boy give his choice to have sex with a forty-five year old male?

you hear things as time passes by, i had the chance to listen to a legal professional say that if gay marrige was approved pedophiles would be banging at the door to get recognized as a social norm.

I would dearly love to see the jw that groomed and molested me to 'fight back'. I would have absolutely no problem killing the mother f'er. I would gladly spend my life in jail. Gladly!

I would drag his ass out to the woods and torture him for as long as I could. That's a big reason I cant go back where I was raised. I'm not sure I would be able to control myself. Especially since he has a track record of pedophilia. It ripped my family apart. Never to be repaired. I would like to think I could control myself, but I really don't think I could in that situation. The damage it caused. The lives destroyed. The innocent children that never really had a damn chance.

I know this thread is old. But it popped up and those are my thoughts on pedos.

They don't even keep pedos in general population when they happen to land in jail usually, because the inmates WILL kill them or try.

I went to jail when I was 21 for 3 months for fighting a cop. I know stupid. (never charged me) It was to teach me a lesson and it did. I was a lose canon back then. Anyway a pedo came in and somehow they made a mistake and put him in general population. It took a dozen guards to get the inmates off of him when the inmates found out. When they were done, lets just say I don't think he made it to his court date capable of forming sentences and probably not after that ever again.

So go ahead pedos, fight back. You all must have a death wish.

Social distancing and the Memorial

with the coronavirus now categorized as a global pandemic and many large gatherings are now social distancing for safety concerns of contacting and spreading the virus.. will the memorial of christ death take place on april 7 2020 worldwide where thousands will gaether in large crowds to commemorate the death of jesus as commanded in the bible.

jesus gave the command to keep doing this in remembrance of him or will sound, reasonableness and good judgment for safety overrule on that special night.

my guess is that it will not be canceled regardless of the frightening and very real pandemic the virus has caused around the world!.

I'm curious how they will get non members to go if they are not going door to door as much right now and in some places not at all? It il be interesting to see if the attendance numbers drop. Which could easily be used as "the love of the greater number "cooling off". '

I wouldn't be surprised if it was streamed live at Warwick and recorded by the GB. Log into jwbroadcasting and celebrate the memorial behind a screen. Asking the ones who watched it to report themselves as having watched.

It would actually fit in nicely with the direction I think they might could head in regards online meetings. Then from there they could start charging a monthly subscription fee.

Only hold 'in real life' gatherings once a month or something. Or just at the assemblies after the pandemic is over. Seems like the perfect storm for this.

Conversely, I can see everyone wearing plastic gloves, face masks, and a few wine stained masks.

Also I could see it split up. Small house gatherings.

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread

this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

Drive through testing sites up and running in the Seattle area. Can only test 50-60 a day. That started two days ago so may be able to test more as of today.

I heard of more testing facilitates today because a client in their (70s) is getting the test done because they are ill. They are moneyed so that might make a difference on the using the testing facility that is not drive through and not in a hospital. IDK, I didn't ask.

So I am obviously anxious to know as I have been working around them for the last several days. I'm trying not to panic. My other client was ill last week and I was around them today. This person is actually an 'immunity' therapist, whatever that means. They said borders should have been closed weeks ago.

Anyhow, Its becoming a little to ghost town-ish around here.

I live in a place where everyday a logger or psycho drivers try to run you off the road. Its a thing in this little town, no joke. However the last week it seems everyone is driving really careful which is fine, but considering the norm it does feel very weird.

i became a velcro salesman, but i couldn't stick with it.and besides - it was a ripoff.. i tried my hand at a career in tennis, but it wasn't my racket and i was too high strung.. i was a masseur for a while, but i seemed to rub people the wrong way.next i got a job at a pool company, but the work was too draining.then?i was a historian, but i couldn't see a future in it.i took a job as an elevator operator—the job had its ups and downs, and i got the shaft.. i became a banker, but i had an affair with boss's wife because she promised to hold my interest right up to the moment of withdrawal.. i just lost my job as a psychic.

i did not see that coming.if a job’s worth doing, it’s too hard.. i quit my job working for nike.

That sucks! But very predictable. One of the last few times I spoke with a jw relative (long time ago now) they said the society (gb) is giving "hints" that the great tribulation has started.

That's all they do now is "HINT" at it having started and let the flocks minds run wild.

So many other denominations think this is the great trib too. All.The.Time.

it turns out the lds church has about $38b in stocks and mutual funds from major companies such as apple, microsoft, amazon, walmart and others.

they also have numerous dummy corporations to hold assests with a combined value of $32b.

The WTS has plenty of money. More than just a few billion. Once you start digging you find many millions here, many millions there . Investments in tobacco, tires, medical equipment, military, technology, JPMorgan, and so much more. Tobacco and military alone would put them in the billions. Add tech and JP plus whatever else and they won't be going broke anytime soon. Things that can easily stay tied up (how convenient) but pay mad dividends.

They most certainly don't need members money. But every million helps.

Those are the things you can find with relative ease. I have heard investments in pharmaceutical and oil as well but haven't found anything to back that up.

I grew up in Texas. That was good sentence structure and use of wording 'for them there parts'. lol

I would imagine rumors are all over about this being the start of the great tribulation. The gb would probably not say but allow the thoughts AND rumors to spread. It helps them.

This is one of, if not the best comprehensive compilations covering COVID-19 I have seen on the internet.

If only the media (all media) would/ could unite for the first time to say and show something of this nature and continue doing it through this global crisis then perhaps the hysteria would not be as impactful as it is right now. A pipe dream, I know.

Right now to get information I have to fight through so much other bull when I look up info that its unsettling to say the extreme least. What takes me hours to find and try to put together, is all right here. It is really appreciated.
