One of my siblings was diagnosed with secondary cancer early last year has undergone 4 treatment's and they have not been successful yet.A non JW relative let their only child who was disfellowshiped for teenage stuff about 10 years ago they called their parents and they explained the diagnosis to them and then they just wanted just to chat to them and was told we can't do that because you are disfellowshiped and they said they have to return to Jehovah.
That was the end of the conversation .
I spoke to my family members about this and they just said they need to return to Jehovah ,I asked them but if they no longer believe in Jehovah do you expect them to tell lies to return "deer in the headlights moment " and just repeated they need to return.
Very sad because of a abusive controlling cult that destroys family's.
diego maradona apparently died yesterday, 11-25-2020, from a heart attack aged 60.. on the football pitch he was a genius, a footballer of outrageous talent.
btw i'm english, and like many of my compatriots, i remember how disgraceful his cheating was in the quarter finals of the 1986 world cup against england.
he clearly deliberately punched the football into the net, and that goal should not have been allowed.
It was shown on match of the day someone fouled a England player before maradona got the Ball.
Just because someone has a talent does not excuse being abusive.

what happened to petra was not the fault of mark o'donnell, listener, corney, mike and kim, or anyone else.. constant rejection and shunning even at an early age, the depression was storing up inside of her.
she was shunned inside the hall and outside the hall.

volcano eruptions and tsunamis kill at large scale and very often, without warning.
how do believers explain these away?
jehovah's witnesses say that humans die and suffer due to the original sin, but what do volcano's and tsunamis have to do with it?
Because of man's sin and their continue rebellious attitude leading to the flood ,god withdrawal of his protection regarding the earth (even though he declared his creation as good) and that's why we now get earthquake etc .
That how I recall it being explained might be old light now .
hello all interested persons,.
whilst driving to work this morning listening to the radio, my ears pricked when the presenter began talking about jws.
it was on a programme which airs between 8.00 and 8.30 entitled am, and broadcast on the abc national radio.
We also have to remember the victims and survivors of this terrible situation and how this must be affecting their mental health because the org wouldn't join and the Australian government has given them extra time to join the redress scheme .
A kind and loving organisation NOT.
in a recent feel-good instagram post about the 2019 international convention, a jw remarked, "was it the last convention we will have?".
there is no doubt jw's feel they are truly special and that world events revolve around them directly.
there is also no doubt that whether we get a vaccine for covid or not, and at the moment, its looking very certain that we will, that the world will continue to spin and life will go on, regardless of the beliefs of the jw's.. once the pandemic is over i'm wondering if some jw's will realise that even though they lived through a notable period of time, life kept sailing on, and maybe they aren't that special after all?

And then the celebrity 8 and their helpers can do all the online talks etc and get all the praise and glory and then they can get dressed up and put their badges on in their own homes and have the best convention ever .
i`m thinking of times when the jw organization has been hypocritical in their beliefs / practices .
they make sure they are no part of christendom in any way shape or form ,the understanding the r&f have of the organization.. the r&f members are not to have any dealings with christendoms religions in business or otherwise.. but what does the jw organization do ?
they sell watchtower property to christendoms churches for profit .. the r&f are to be separate from the world and call the league of nations and it`s successor the united nations the counterfeit kingdom of god ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of god ?.
The disfellowshiping policy they were critical of the Catholic church for their policy of excommunication and that it was a practice of Pagans , yet now it's part of the way of life to JWs.
That they expect the human rights of JWs to be upheld that they can practice their religion with freedom of abuse and persecution .
But they ignore the human rights of those who choose not to be part of their religion and they are happy to shun and disfellowshiped ones who make that choice.

Compensate the victims and survivors and have them make a public apology in the media and on JW.org .
