A notarized letter is a great idea but as phizzy said "if you threatened legal action, you must intend to go through with it"

A average JW would probably not have the funds to follow through with legal action and the elders will also know if the person had the means to see it through, if they do have the money they would possibly accept the letter and do nothing.

And the way JW lawyers have treated others that have taken the org to court we can be sure that they will be as difficult as possible to increase the costs and drag it out as long as they can, and if they lose they will appeal to drag it even more.

I was using that bible passage in connection with the topic ,I no longer believe the Bible it's just a book of fables ,myths and a bit of history and has very little benefit to modern life and none to man's eternal life. We have this life and should live it the best we can and be kind to each other.

Harder

Until recently a family member who is a elder was sending me a link so I could stream the meeting , only checked to get title of talk In case they asked but now he be instructed that zoom should be used so been encouraged to contact local elders so I can join , never had any contact with elders for about 4-5 months .

They don't have a contact number or my address (because of a family issue not trust them to reveal my address) expecting that soon the stuff will hit the fan as I have no interest in contacting them esp with the redress issue and the Swiss court case .

So only been playing along for my family (7 members) never been overly outspoken about about my feelings about JW beliefs ,knowing that when they find out that I no longer believe that they will shun me as they have done to other family members.

They put them on WhatsApp as a PDF so they can be printed off , this is from a Uber family member ,a full cult member so will wear it for the days text and chat after it will prove how spiritual they are.

I can't listen to more than a few minutes now , so might put on a high vis on like a attendant and go for a walk 😂😀

Some of my JW family have printed off their badges but only had black ink so are know colouring them in .

Some are waiting till Sunday to listen to the drivel .

No witnesses called , because they had extensive written evidence.

So possibly there own literature and letters and videos (proof of truth)was enough evidence to exonerate the cult expert and confirm that JWs are a manipulating and controlling cult.
