What WT Children's Book Were You Studied With As A Child?
by Sea Breeze inmy mom studied with me in the paradise book before i went to kindergarten.
i remember the book vividly.
it creeped me out as a kid.

Occasionally when my dad did study with us it was the study edition of the watchtower , this was in the 70s , the different covenant's and types and anti types etc , sometimes even on the Friday night when circuit assembly included a Friday so we were prepared for the Saturday.

David Splane's apostate warning convention talk
by neat blue dog ini know this recent video has been talked about already but i just watched it and here are a few things that got me annoyed as usual:.
splane says that if a bible student says he saw some negative information from apostates and asks us to explain it, we shouldn't look at it or address anything specifically, but instead we should tell them to go to meetings and hear what we have to say about ourselves and also tell them to befriend people at the hall.
for any person with integrity and/or intelligence, this is not a satisfactory answer.

What is projection? ... Ed, LCSW, projection refers to unconsciously taking unwanted emotions or traits you don't like about yourself and attributing them to someone else. A common example is a cheating spouse who suspects their partner is being unfaithful.
The gb are projecting ,they now know that what they have been teaching and preaching is a lie ,they know that they can't just say "the Bible says " and it's believed and true , and they simply cannot defend their teachings any longer, so the only option to them is to try and discredit anyone who can prove them to be lying as apostates and anyone else who questions them judges, lawyers and jurys are untrustworthy as well.
Hopefully this will be shared in the upcoming court cases against the gb with all those involved.

What Did You Think Of The Songs Sung At The Kingdom Hall?
by minimus inwhen i was younger we had song books and i recall that some of the songs were pretty catchy.
then they revised it took some of those songs out, and added more.
i have to admit some songs were pretty good.

Did they not have to change some of the songs in the older songbook because they sounded like worldly songs and national anthems .

What are your personal reasons for hating the Jehovah's Witnesses religion ?
by Rocketman123 infirst thing comes to mind is that this organization through its leaders are not witnessing the true and honest version of the gospel teachings of jesus christ .. they are subjectively teaching/preaching a tainted version made up by the top controlling men of the organization, which i'm sure is connected to the proliferation and distribution of literature which these men publish themselves.

when jesus said that no one knows of the time not even he, he didn't say a select few will know .. the other thing that bothers me is this organization promotes human ignorance on many levels, admonishing education or knowledge that mankind needs for its very survival... there are many other religious organizations that do this as well but the jws is just one of these organizations.

How the universe works ,
He has a way of explaining physics in a way people can understand , the advancements they have made in the past few decades has only opened up new aspects of physics ,wish now I hadn't wasted all those years believing a god had created the universe when I now consider the wonders of the universe and why humans have a desire to learn more about the universe and it's origin.

What made you walk out on the "Truth"?
by Overrated ini had a legal divorce from my ex wife( law of the land).
i was told not to expect to get remarried because my divorce was not legal to watchtower.. my divorce and situation seem to be a talk of gossip and even a many local needs talks.
i wanted to take some more schooling to get a better job, there was a local needs talk on higher education and it's dangers.
