It's discouraged but not banned by JW. It makes sense - they don't really help much anyway. The best you can do for mental health issues it what the Bible says to do for everyone: keep a healthy mind & body ( be selective about what you put in both) & take and live life one day at at time ( don't take on too much of a mental burden).

Famine- the widespread absence of spiritual truth/food.
Pestilence- spiritual sickness. As described in 2 Timothy 3:1-7. Mentally & spiritually diseased.
Example: Our current generation of young people can't even tell what gender they were born! They play make believe with their gender & pronouns.

What's the current JW stance on retirement savings? I know it changed. Pre1975 it was an attitude of "don't worry about retirement, this system is ending soon". Is this still their stance or have they losen their stance now?
Do they discourage their rank & file from savings and investing in 401k/IRA ( speaking from an American perspective)?

Lol you couldn't be more far off in your assumptions. Being brain washed by JW is not the case and has nothing to do with my conclusions.
It's the fact that I SEE with my own eyes what is going on in the world. And there's nothing good about it.
