  MAJOR WIN FOR THE WATCHTOWER IN EUROPE ON THE BLOOD ISSUE

  so on the 17th of september the european court of human rights (echr) condemned spain over a case involving a jehovah’s witness who was given a blood transfusion during emergency surgery, against her will, this case was well documented earlier last year as a victory for the exjw community and a sign that european countries are turning on the watchtower, unfortunately this was a shortlived victory since the finally authority are no longer countries and their courts but nefarious organizations like the echr that over rule their decisions, and i'm afraid this is the same way is going to go if the victory in norway ends up in strasburg in the hands of the echr.. the case involved an ecuadorian national residing in spain, who was given a transfusion despite her religious objections.

  spain found itself in a difficult position when confronted with this case.

  hey karter can you post this for me?

  as you know my ex wife and i adopted her brother at 7 years old when his parents passed away.. we brought him up a j.w but he left at 16 and moved in with his girlfriend.. it came out he had been interfering with our 3 daughters when they were very young.. he never got prosecuted becouse my daughters didnt want to ( i suspect their mother a hard out j.w has something to do with that) so basicly he walked free.. latter in life he left his girlfreind comes back to the j.ws and they welcome him like the prodical son and he marries a j.w.. if anyone reading this thinks the j.ws like to hide c.s a read on.. it came to my attention recently by 2 ex elders that had read the letter that followers him when he moves congros that it says the sex bettween him and my daughters was consensual..they were under 10 years old.. this were it gets disgusting.. i approach the p.o of my old congro and ask him who wrote the letter he said he had moved by that time go see another elder .. i did he didnt know as well and said for me to ring the branch.. i did and they were not interested in changing the letter at all basicly go away.. the offender has moved congros 3 times and every time they elders think my daughters under 10 went along with this pos.. not sure what my next move is as the branch here has closed down and they operate out of a diffrent country.. if anyone wants to ask questions ill p.m the reply to you..

  Talk with your daughters. Find out if it truly was consensual or if it was against their will.

  If consensual, not much can be done. If it was against their will, talk to them about filing a police report. It may be very difficult for them to do that, but express to them that it is very necessary to do ( while difficult), so as to protect any other girls that may become his next victim.

  Once the police report is filed, I would then begin a public campaign to bring his crimes into the light. Social Media posts, letters posted at KH, word of mouth to any JW 's you know in his congregation, his wife & family & his employer. Don't leave it up to the elders or the Branch to act, because they won't.

  the last assembly i attended was over 10 years ago.

  the monotone speakers, boring talks, uncomfortable seats, long prayers and nodding off after the lunch break did me in.

  i survived the morning sessions, but the afternoon sessions were brutal.

  It's so much easier to stay awake now. They use mixed media to keep it from being monotone & keep your attention ( talks, videos, interviews, songs/ music videos, audio Bible reading, etc). Yes, the old days were brutal though.

  Unfortunately kids learn about sex at a young age. It's better for the parents to control the narrative than to leave it to peers & the rest of the world to influence them.

  Non JW kids know more about sex ( & it's devinces) at a young age. The tragedy there is that they are taught it's normal acceptable behavior and unquestionable engage in it.

  However, if adults can talk about why it's not acceptable ( from a spiritual standpoint) & provide guidance to their kids, then they are better equipped to deal with such situations.

  Simply sweeping it under the rug & pretending like it doesn't exist because it is an uncomfortable topic is just as dangerous. The fact is kids know or will know soon enough ( from the media, school, friends, etc,). It's better to guide them in the right direction that to pretend it doesn't exist.

  i found out recently that michelangelo's painting of adam on the sistine chapel depicts him without a belly button.

  i had never noticed this before and it makes sense that neither adam nor eve would have belly buttons, not having been born in the usual way.

  then i realized all the first animals were created rather than born, according to the religious views of the origin of life.

  Of all the stuff to think about in life why would you waste your time & energy in something that doesn't matter & has no meaning?

  It just looks like a futile attempt to call your educated.

  Remember the sex talks?

  i remember sitting through public talks where the speaker spent the hour discussing in great detail anal sex, masturbation (of yourself and others), sex during menstruation and so on.

  .

  i was a child, looking back now, i realise that they systematically stripped away our childhood innocence, we knew and heard things no 'worldly' child would have heard.. the child abuse and grooming happened to every single one of us, the feelings of guilt and shame was in all of us even if we didn't actually do anything bad, the mental images caused by these filthy men hung around in our innocent minds till there was no room for that innocence.. it has taken me 44 years to realise that what was done to us, even those of us not physically abused, is a crime.. do they still have talks like that nowadays i wonder?

  The video is horrendous!!

  I get that the point they want to get across it that masterbation is the doorway to uncontrolled sexual desires & selfishness. That Bibiblically speaking sex should be shared with a spouse to strengthen their connection, express love, and to build families ( if they choose to have children).

  But they went off the rails with this one! Nobody needs to hear the detailed situations & circumstances of sexual acts. The point above would of better been driven home if they counseled about why they feel masterbation is harmful. Not different ways not to masturbate. Are you kidding me?
