Why don't you call the private industry counsel in your area. They help train people for different careers. Or, look in your paper and train to be a truck driver, in a few months you'll be making a grand or so a week. Alot of trucking companies train for free, or send you to school for free. Might be worth a try since you drive for a living anyway.
Then if you really must, you'll have access to all sorts of stuff to steal, hahaha

hi, i've been reading this site for quite a while now.
i've read the gentile times reconsidered book and found it very interesting.
i've tried to verify everything in that book and found it to be accurate.
Basically everything I was going to say here has already been said, but in addition, some of these groups such as the Mormons, Baptists, etc have been preaching their word for much much longer than the JWs. In fact, the Mormons alone have at least a 50-60 year head start on the JWs. And they most certainly do preach the word of Jehovah, I know, I had to listen to it for months before I finally got rid of them :)
They seem to get alot further as well in their preaching. They're one of the fastest growing religions in history, if not THE fastest. And if you count man hours, well they're doing some work for sure! Considering the average congregation has what, maybe 4-6 missionaries. But they're out there like busy little bees. I can hardly ever leave my house without seeing them scurrying around on their handy little bicycles, doing the same work their forefathers were doing way back in 1830 or so. So, no, the JWs certainly don't have a corner on this market.

they decided that they wanted to visit bethel here in nyc.
Farkel,Correct. Patterson, NJ is DEFINITELY no place for the JWs, haha.I close my eyes when I drive by the place. No offence to anyone that might live there :) I'm in Wallkill regularly. I used to live right near the Farm in Pine Bush (UFO country). You know it amazes me that no-one knows they're there. The way they're tucked away back there, the general public doesn't even know they exist. It's funny. My wife grew up maybe 20 minutes from the farm and had no idea until she met me and had to hear me babble on and on about them. Anyway, from what I hear that's where everything is headed Wallkill and Patterson. As a matter of fact I believe the congregations were informed of this, at least in part.Zev is right. The Watchtower Patterson complex is in New York state. There is a Pattersen, (sp?) New Jersey but that is not where the JW complex is located.

From what I'm told, most of the properties will be sold in Brooklyn. They're moving just about everything, including their writing department, up to Wallkill. That's the story, from what I hear. The amount of money they'll save is incredible, not to mention they can't expand anymore in Brooklyn. The city won't permit them to grow any further. That property is prime NYC waterfront, and the city is missing out on a ton of tax money, and to allow them to expand would mean losing even more revenue. I imagine they'll move out all together in the near future, that'd be my guess.

as i got older, and got a job as a teenager, then again, my money was spent on more expensive toys, and spending money hanging out with friends.. i got married young, and stayed active as a witness for about 4 more years.

I too am sad to see you go. I've spent much time reading and pondering your insightful posts. Your level head and kindness has been a major asset to this board, and for all the members here. I wish you good luck with your treatment, and know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. You're a good man, and it's plain to see. we can't agree on a name for our soon to be born baby boy.. i love the name tristen.
he hates it.. he wants a basic name like bobby, tony, etc.. is there a name that sounds like tristen but isn't?.
