Why do people feel the need to tell everyone that they're not going to be posting here anymore? You wanna stop posting here, fine, stop posting. I just always see people saying "I'm leaving" (how can you leave a discussion board? you can only stop posting because you were never physically there) and then everyone always posts saying how much they'll miss them. Do they do this just so they can have all these people telling them how great they are? If they do, then they're lying because they said they're "leaving" so how are they supposed to read the "I love you so much" messages?

President Bush

in the netherlands and many other european countries president bush of the united states of america is considered as a man with low intellectual capabilities and a narrow minded unilateral view on the rest of the world who uses one-liners in stead of founded argumentation.

but in the us he is seen by most americans as a wise and great statesman, a marvellous leader in difficult times.. i am interested how jws in congregations from different countries look at president bush although they usually dont openly have an opinion about politicians.

Hey Rado, I must be European because I feel the same way. Actually, I have a lot of dealings with people from Europe business wise as well as Americans. Personally, with few exceptions (obviously) I would much rather deal with someone from over seas. My general impression has been that most of them has been that they are extremely friendly and thoughtful.

george w bush and his right-wings friends are quietly pursuing their domestic agenda while the nations attention is focused on international terrorism.. bush's attacks on women's reproductive freedom continue.. examples;.

1. on his first day in the oval office,bush re-instated the global gag rule,which takes family planning funds from organizations that even mention the option of abortion to their patients,risking womens lives overseas.. 2. bush has promised to re-visit the food and drug administration's approval of ru-486.and anti-abortion forces in congress have already introduced a bill to limit it's availability.. 3. with the expected retirement of 3 supreme court justices ,including sandra day o'connor,who is often the critical swing vote on abortion rights issue,bush has made it clear that he will nominate the most adamant opponents of abortion and civil rights.. the bush administration is committed to strategies that limit life saving stem cell research,criminalize abortion providers,reduce the availability of birth control and deny funding of health reproduction education in the schools.. what better way to take on the christian coalition and ultra-right leaders and movements,than to use your voice to speak up now!!.

Hey, I'm all for as caring for children as much as anyone but that's not what being discussed here. This topic is about killing babies. You were the one trying to say how great it was to kill them now and not let them have any life what so ever instead of at least giving them a shot at making something with their life. Try to stay on topic here. Even though a certain other poster on here was able to do that even if they were too dense to understand that killing children is wrong.

I used to wear ties designed by Jerry Garcia all the time to meetings. What was funny was that I would get more compliments on those than anything else I wore.

Bush is he crazy?

what happend inn the word now?.

us is the word police doing what they want, putting peopel in prision and bombing innocent peopel,.

and yesterday he come upp widh a crazy idea that other countrys must pay tax on 30% iff they want to sell steel to us, and what will happend, europe must akt inn the same way, perhaps 30% on evry car imported from us, i must say i think this man is a dissaster for us.

You want to know why I think voting is a worthless action and why it doesn't matter if people vote or not? We have a president who got less votes than the loser that somehow was able to get the needed electoral votes because of some miscounted ballots in a state that his brother is the governor of. What does he do when he gets in office? Appoints a man (John Ashcroft) to a position of great authority after that same man lost his bid for senate to a dead man because they would rather have virtually anyone representing them rather than Ashcroft.
Say what you will about Bill Clinton's moral character but at least the country was in better shape when he was running it.

as a george carlin fan i keep thinking he has got a point when he says that men are generally very insecure about their dick size.

countries go to war if they think someone got bigger dicks than them.. lately there seem to have been such a lesser scale war here on the board.

the problem in this particular case is that the ones who quite obviously got bigger dicks were women!.

I answered it when I said abortion is not a valid alternative no matter what the circumstances. Jeez, how dense are you when you can't understand that when I say "abortion is never a valid alternative" that means abortion is never valid alternative. Rationalize it anyway you want, if you have an abortion you are killing an innocent child. Here's a little system you can use to determine how I will answer one of these questions every single time. If you're asking if I think aborting a baby under any circumstances is ok the answer will be the answer will be no. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are, the answer will always be no. If that wasn't clear enough for you (which I seriously wonder if it will be or not) and you're not sure how I would answer the question, just assume that I would say no.
A child living in a horrible situation is still a child that is alive. Following that logic why don't we go kill all children over in Africa that are living in poverty and with AIDS?
