by heathen inwhen i was young i used to love reading comic books and still have a collection.the marvel commics were always my favorite.although i liked alot of the different characters i would have to say spiderman was my favorite .i can't wait to see the movie it looks so cool from the previews.so common i know some of ya are into comics ,let's have it whose your favorite super hero or villian?

I hate the fact that I used to go out and bring new people in. Luckily I was never very good at it and never followed up with return visits. I wasted countless hours trying to get people to read the literature though.
if you didn't do the work, somebody else probably would have eventually done it for you.
Nice if it makes you feel better but that doesn't really matter. The fact is you did the work. I know the only person I ever blame for my actions as a JW is myself. It doesn't matter who told me all the stuff or anything like that but the fact of the matter is I was the one that chose to listen to them and act on it. I couldn't give two cents who said or did what the only person responsible for your actions is you. Its called responsibility folks. Try it sometime.

For a gadget geek such as myself I think this is incredibly cool. This could mean I could walk up to my house, it would know its me, turn off the security system, open the door, turn on lights when I walk in the room (ok, so my house already does that), turn them off when I leave, pipe audio and video to whatever room I'm in and that room only. If my wife had one as well it could do all that stuff for both of us and if we're both in the same room th system could decide who's entertainment gets priority. The potential uses are astounding!!!!
On the other hand, there's no way in hell I could support something like this for any other reasons (well, maybe for people who need high security clearences) at all. I can also see how this system could be greatly abused. I also know I would definitely have one inserted into my child if that tells you anything.
Remember folks, this is coming from someone who can talk to their computer to turn the lights in the house on and off as well as dim them. I'm also working on getting everything to work so I can use a PDA to pull TV listings from the net and then just tap on what I want to see to make my entertainment system automatically go to it. JWs Could Never Steal This Feeling

when studying, i was told how "stupid" i was for going off to that war long ago.
even though i was often made to feel less a person because of my military service, i still was baptized and eventually, saw the light and left the borg.. i also belong to a yahoo message group comprised of fellow veterans that i served with long ago.

by misty ini know that jw's say only 144,000. however, i just read a book called "as time runs out" by robert jeffress and he claims that all christians who have received jesus will be picked up at the rapture.
but, he says, we will not all have the same rank in heaven.
he claims that different responsibilities will be assigned.

Thanks for the information DakotaRed! Rest assured that not only have you helped a daughter to know the father she can't remember you've also helped another family gain the recognition they deserve. On behalf of my wife's dad and grandfather we all appreciate the assistance you've given.
To those of you giving Dakota a hard time, go f@#k yourselves and show some respect to someone who actually deserves it. You should be thankful people like him have given their lives so you can bitch about how horrible they are. However, your own words and actions do offer a compelling arguemnet as to why manical tyrants should not be stood up to.
