i know you have a lot of ideas for being so far from the kh that day, and not attending the memorial.
I do not know why they call people from The Netherlands "Dutch". In the German language, someone who lives in Germany is called "Deutsch", but in English he is called "German". The Netherlands literally means "The Low Lands", as most of the country lies below sea-level (about and up to 10 meters below). So if the dikes burst, about 2/3 of the country would be inundated by water. Another name for The Netherlands is also "Holland".

I was visiting my daughter (one of those rare occasions - you see I am df'd and she is supposed to shun me, and she does!) and the subject of education came up. She said to me that "Dad, you never allowed us to go to university" - I couldn't believe what I heard: Of course I deep down wanted her to go to college but the Society not so indirectly stated that university/college was a trap and you don't need it, you get a trade and pioneer because the end is near blah blah blah. My daughter said that this was not true and that the Watchtower never said that! I told her that it was true and that I will show her older articles where they discouraged any witness from attending university. She said that was not necessary, hinting that this was a apostate-plot of some kind.
Now the WTS is back-pedalling and they have more of a neutral stand on education. Now it's our fault and not the Watchtower's fault. Don't get me wrong: I wanted her to get at least a college education, but then again I was "pre-occupied" by reaching out to become an elder and the Society strongly advised against higher education. You see their tactic?
I told my daughter to go back to school, but now she says she is too busy helping her husband with his cleaning business and she has 2 children as well. I told her it's never too late to get a higher education: just take a couple of courses and even if it takes twice as long, you eventually will have your degree.

god certainly realizes that carrying out his righteous laws about cutting off wrongdoers often involves and affects relatives.
as mentioned above, when an israelite wrongdoer was executed, no more family association was possible.
in fact, if a son was a drunkard and a glutton, his parents were to bring him before the judges, and if he was unrepentant, the parents were to share in the just executing of him, 'to clear away what is bad from the midst of israel.

I remember once when I had to go to a re-instatement meeting with the elders, they asked me what was on my heart. I told them that it's unbiblical and cruel to have a disfellowshipping policy in force and gave an example: if a girl of say 15 years-old commits immorality -oftentimes youngsters are growing up emotionally and are somewhat confused which is a normal phenomenon - and she gets disfellowshipped as a result. She feels deserted, abandonned, left astray and decides not to go back to the meeting. After she grows up and becomes a young woman, gets married, has kids and grows old and lives a peaceful and even godly life, yet all the time - even if it takes 30, 40 or 50 years - she is shunned by her own parents, family and friends forever! Where in the bible does it teach that this is right? Then I told the elders the example of the prodigal son. This son was bad, he squandered the money, went out with prostitutes and did everything under the sun which was bad and immoral. Yet when this prodigal son returned to his father, how did his father react? His father always hoped that he would return and often stood outside looking out and one day he noticed his son from afar and IMMEDIATELY he ran to him, embraced him, forgave him and kissed him. Why wasn't he stoned? Why wasn't he disfellowshipped? Etc Etc. The elders responded by saying that "spiritual things can only be understood by spiritual persons" and secondly they said: "that girl of 15 years was NOT stoned so now she could "live" - if she would have lived under the Mosaic Law, she would have been stoned. So she should be g;ad that she can keep on living".
After they said that, I decided never to return to the KH and have nothing to do with "Watchtower pharisaical theology".

Well LyinEyes, that explains it! Oh by the way, you never have to feel "bad" about having had to clean offices. Nobody should ever look down on you - I always appreciate any work that a person does and I will respect him/her in the same way! I hate it when people lift up their noses because they are a lawyer or some engineer and think they are superieur. I once overheard a person say that she doesn't like the singer Celine Dion for the simple reason that Celine does not have an education and she did not even finish high school. Can you imagine that? I told her the opposite: that I can't stand people who make those stupid statements. In front of God we are all the same and I believe wholeheartedly that we only live here temporarily anyways and we can't take anything with us. What is important is how we are on the inside and I love and befriend people because I can relate to them through their heart, not how many degrees one has. (Even if you're a VAMPIRE LOL)
So you are a night person - actually I am a little bit like that too. I stay up late but also get up early as I am working from my home doing network marketing. At least there is no traffic to fight in the morning! Sorry to hear that he (your son?) can't find one expensive shoe - well don't worry, he'll find it back - I guess there aren't that many one-legged people at school LOL.

When I read the last three paragraphs I surely though that you were joking. Honestly I did not realize that you were serious!!!!!!
The WT organization is so defunct of love, it's not funny anymore - surely a pedophile paradise indeed! Genuine love for the abused child does not even come into the picture. What a slime ball kind of an organization! The WT is intent on destroying lives and families all in the name of their satanic Watchtower "God"... A shame indeed!

The Revelation book had to be studied 3 times during book-studies. I believe over a period of about 5 years we went through this book three times and still I hardly understood it. LOL

my old jw grandmother passed away recently so i went to the demon er dingdong i mean kingdumb hall for the memorial.
and the dupes er fools i mean bafoons kept throwing the word truth around like 12 year olds say dude.. most of them assumed i was also a fellow dub.
my grandparents are and my mom is so i guess its natural to assume full heredity of foolishness.
