  On previous viewings of that illustration I failed to notice that the celestial dune buggy is positioned directly over the heads of the GB. Yer darn tootin' Jesus is missing as well as the 144,000.

  This strikes me as just plain evil. It puts the GB in the position of a totalitarian dictator.

  My Husband Said "Victims Of Pedophiles Come Forward Soon, Not Fifteen Or Thirty Years Later!" Right?

  my husband had gotten into a fight with a couple of victims of different pedophiles, he said in all his years of elderhood, "men and women who were sexually assualted came forward when they were old enough, they did not wait for decades to report they were abused.

  you must have some kind of false memory or you are just trying to bring shame to the congregations.

  " what is the truth of this?.

  As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse I can testify to the fact that children can't even process what happened to them or muster the vocabulary to report it. Add to that the fact that the pedophile will use some form of coercion to prevent the child from reporting it. Either he will present it as a loving act or he will threaten the child with some horrible punishment.

  That's why it doesn't get reported right away.

  I remember when my family was new in the cult the emphasis was on "brotherhood." Everyone was to be treated the same, whether GB or publisher. The GB, branch committees, BOEs, etc. were servants to the worldwide brotherhood.

  This picture clearly illustrates a hierarchy, even positioning the players in order of importance from top to bottom.

  Quentin (from JW-net) is dying

  quentin robburts has been on jw-net off and on for over 6 years and he is one of my oldest and most loyal friends.. his wife called me awhile ago and gave me the news.. quentin was rushed to the hospital's emergency room with acute renal failure and congestive heart failure.. .

  this does not surprise me for the following reason.

  his pain doctor put him on oxycontin last thursday.

  hi, new member here, but i've lurked for a while.. for obvious reasons, i won't give too many details about myself, but i thought i'd share my story of what might in the end have been the easiest fade in recorded history.
