excerpt from study articel 13 7/15 p 8. so there is good reason for us to understand matthew 24:46, 47 to mean that jesus will arrive to appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings at that time in the future during the great tribulation.

I can live with a progressive responsibility because everyone of us develops. But what is the sense of an appointment over all belongings at all if it happens in the last moments of this world right shortly before the new world anyway comes, why this honor only for this little time of the end, would that be a honory office or a medal or would that affect even the daily work in the great tribulation and judgement?

It sounds strange that the honor of being appointed over all belongings begins just with the great tribulation to watch the judgment and doing nothing else.

Even if the honor would remain 1000 years or even longer but why does this honor over all belongings not begin already before the tribulation so that the slave could prepare itself for this tribulation better ?

Perhaps I dont understand what the belongings in this parable are at all. It would be a better, a real cool honor to get appointed over all belonging not in the tribulation but only in the new world.

Explanation of expression "great tribulation": ,,, dont the goats include the false religions? Why first the religions and than the goats isnt that the same group?

Great tribulation: The end of this wicked world. First, false religion will be destroyed. Then, there will be a time when Jesus will judge the sheep and the goats and appoint his faithful slave over all the Master’s belongings. Finally, the rest of this system will be destroyed at Armageddon

So there is good reason for us to understand Matthew 24:46, 47 to mean that Jesus will arrive to appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings at that time in the future during the great tribulation.* (See endnote.) Jesus’ prophecy shows that all eight of these scriptures that mention his coming refer to the time of judgment during the great tribulation.

If the FDS - faithful and discreet slave /group of men leading Jehovash witnesses - has not been appointed 1918 over the belongings of our faith - belongings like feeding, supervision, shepherding and providing spiritual food, providing the NWT of the bible, new headquarters and not to forget providing judgicial commitee instructions and providing legal representation in case of members face gross loss of blood - then why should anybody listen to it?

Everything written and taught since 1918 was not authorized by jesus christ at all! It erroneously wrote Watchtower study articles and seduced members to think it was appointed by jesus 1918. Can anyone lead us without being appointed? Didnt the Watchtower leaders lead astray christians herewith, was not that the proclamation "Here I am", as if they were the sole slave who followed Jesus*footsteps?.

So Watchtower s Leaders are simply like all other christians urged to be faitfhul but they are not appointed over all belongings of Jehovahs witnesses, they write it themselves in their own magazin, they can only hope to get appointed in the future. So they have no authority over us at all to ask us to come back.

I will follow the Watchtower only if it should happen - some day - in the great tribulation that Jesus will appoint these men effectively over all belongings. But this is actually to happen in the future as announced the Watchtower 2015.

This contradicts the official statements that the faitful slave is identical with the governing body and that the GB has the authority over all JWs already NOW.

NEW BLOOD CARD w/ FORCED COMPLIANCE also LEGALISM

i have looked around and i don't see this covered, so i am starting a thread.. 1) the new "blood card" goes beyond being just a "blood card".. 2) a new edict concerning compliance.. pay attention to the changes.. first, the new card is termed "advance decision to refuse specified medical treatment".

the big change with the card itself is that it includes an 'override' of your "power of attorney".

this is huge.

One year ago a 65 year old witness whom I knew 30 years before when I was a witness said hello and we talked a little. It got awkward when he told me in front of other people at the cash that I had obviously a problem with authority in the congregation (what was never a point of issue at all, he simple doesnt know the real facts) and than he gave me a fine witness in front of all and said that it is now clear that "we" have the truth, because it "has very much become clear in the last decades - a fact of common accepted knowledge - how wise it is not to accept blood transfusions". P.S. I remember myself how I ran after the signatures for my blood card in the 80's. But for me that was an important milestone. I began to think about the consequences of the whole issue.

So its clear and I fear: There is no hope.

Regional Convention

so how many are not going to the regional convention this year?

it will be my first year not attending as part of my fade.. i remember going for all of my childhood into adult hood, participating in stage parts even.. however, last assembly i was already mentally checked out.

i remember looking around and seeing all of people bobbing & nodding at the program talks that had been previously repeated time and time again.. almost seemed like hypnosis.. i also had a hard time with the fact that we're all supposed to be "friends" and everyone had always seemed to be so judgmental.. especially at conventions & assemblies.. things like who had the best outfit for the days, who looked the prettiest, who can snag the single ms brother.. who took the most spiritual food out of the program, how many times can you tally mark jehovah's name.

This year I feel kind of tempted going ....

...I did that some years ago with the result that

I felt inconvenient, I had to hide my identy and played an interested person who for the first time attended a big convention, then I saw of course someone I knew distantly. I didnt want to meet someone of my former cong. I was assigned to a place next to a 10 year older couple from another part of the counry and they shared there songbook or wt with me. After the closing prayer they gave me there address.

The drama about returning to God was emotional and I had tears in my eyes when we sang some new songs.

Tears because the songs were emotional and I understood....

I didnt want to return to JW ORG but understood really deep in this moments, that JW ORG doesnt have the truth about Jesus and that Jesus must even be very sad how they use Jehovah falsely as prophet of armagedon and over the fact that JW would perhaps never understand how much they are loved by the real father of eterny Jesus.

Cant await to make marginal notes in the bible pages again each time the word Loyality appears.. I should ultimately catch what is the current and latest understanding of the slave about what loyalty means this year 2016.

So I IMITATE the slave who the best eample of faithfulnesss and service and shun wrong behaviours snd wrongdoers who read the bible and think independentwhile permanently i await new lights from a single word, a new fascinating insight perhaps better than last year.

Thank you slave that you did this great job to merge all appearances of loyalty into one singleprogram, the best ever, really necessary food for this year, we wont forget in our brain.

It must be the only true religion, if they even dont fear to speak about shunning publicly. They are not shutting up and have no fear of man. Like jesus.

While in the meetings nobody is disturbed by thoughts about empty purses of widows

Demon possesion, bunch of crap or?

i've been using the forum to vent and post a lot more frequently lately as a venting purpose & way to obtain peace of mind with the craziness i've been going through recently as i fade away form the org.

anyways today i'm sitting here at work and thinking to myself about demons... ok i know this sounds crazy but has anyone else out there been traumatized by the thought of demons?

i had a dream the other night, just flat out spooky and i woke and couldn't help but feeling it may have been evil ole' satan and his demons at it again.. i don't want to believe that, (trying not to, & just brushing it under the rug so to speak) but have any of you out there been talked up about demons?

Today we have TV series, ghost & demons horror movies, war & crime series, hounters creepers, thrillers, ghostbusters and hundreds of fantasy books with vampirs and all kind of mightful mad characters.

Human anxiety about the evil and the absolute evil is a reality and is deep in us. We like to act out the dramatic reality of evil in our imagination. That is simply how we deal with the possibilty that the infinite evil exists and what we would do if we came in that situation. Its thrilling and fascinating to watch and even to play.

Each culture and religion had its demons and customs and perhaps they were naive for our modern understanding but it always turned around the really existing evil or the mad nature and that human could change their character and went the way to their and others ruin

explanation for doorkeepers that "death will be no more" would only refer to an earthly blessing, because it would be logically according to the text that in heaven no one ever died or death had never been there.

seems like wishful argument for the earthly paradise.. dont forget the 144000 members of the heavenly class that will receive heavenly blessing after death and used for decades rev.

Yes I am glad to know of the blessing that God is coming out of heaven is close to us, even so close that God calls the mankind - the bride of christ - with a special name "city of God", Gods "New Jerusalem".

That is an indication that within the congregation the hope of new jerusalem becomes visible already in the present time, because the bride of christ already exists now and not only after the millenium.

It means too that the congregation is called to become a happy city, to the symbol of living together in peace and interpersonal relationships.

All men and people of the earth are in this image already now gathered in this city - a city that is quasi gods dwelling or tent on earth (Rev. 21,3).

Its clear that these earthly blessing are earthly, and I personally believe in earthly blessings, and I believe that some are happening now, as jesus is already king, and the coming of others we will have to expect what will come.

I was quite irritated too by the course of the events from now on until the "new heavens and new earth", what would be the last blessing and would not happen before the 1000 years of horrible examinations have ended.

I always thought that soon after the 1000 year paradise would begin, the resurrection would start and that was for me same as the "tears will be no more, death will be no more" becoming true. (21:4)

But in reality in the course of events as presented in Revelation this "earthly blessing" is not happening within the 1000 years at all, but only after them. Revel. 21:1-4 is the ultimate event.

Thats the big problem that arises: That "Tears will be no more, death now more" is part of a single event once happening as last dimension in the "new heavens and new earth" and not before ...

But the 1000 year millenium is taught to happen before the new heavens and new earth will come into existence and it would last 1000 years. And as the the millenium is not the same as the new heavens and new earth how could death be no more be part of the milllenium?

This would lead to the thesis that the resurraction in the millenium of unrightous is not the end for the adamic death yet, and that people will die in the millenium, no ever regenerating bodies, no automatic healing the rising unrighteous but they will have to wait for the Heavens&earth event to become again resurrected.

Since such a multiple resurraction and dying would be senseless, something in the whole stories does not fit together
