Brief summary for busy ones (who live in the endtime) of the subject, considering your comments and notes with a really broad variety of views.
Q: Is the FDS already appointed? Scripture Matthew 24,45-51
A: NO
Reasons
- because the slave itself is permanently changing its view about the own identity (once all bethelits who slaved away making books were treated as FDS)
- not completely, because there were 2 appointments and only the second would be over all belongings.
- its only a parable anyway – Peter in Luke 12:41(Q behind: Is there any real spiritual appointment as oversight given to the FDS. A. Perhaps no.)
- it supposedly was used only as transition into the next chapter (from 24 to 25) and was overrated, and was used in the context as general counsil only and as answer to the question in Matthew 24,3 about the endtime and return of christ.
- An actual wise servant wouldn't look like a Tele-evangelist
- would not empower itself at the cost of lives and deaths only to think of being subservient
- a wise servant would not be attacked of a rise of lawsuits and loss of tax-exempetion, those things should happen only to false religions with unwise leaders.
- supposedly the parable of the slave + the coming/return of Jesus served the purpose of fuelling the „christ“-movement and everything has no meaning without establishing the catolic faith
- it cannot be already appointed „over all belongings“ at all before Jesus' return because such a reward is only awaited for the time after the memorial of jesus death and the handing over of the symbols at the memorial would have ceased. (=until he arrives) (order of events: 1. coming/return 2. reward)
- the intended audience was supposedly the apostels
- a real appointment would be big disappointment on earth if and when during the tribulation shortly before armageddon the anointed faithul servant would die and be raptured. ( would lead to the assumption that the appointment inclueds the heavenly reward)
If I would appoint a winner, i would like to select:
