my family and i have not attended yet, but i am bracing myself for it.

What next? It is demonstrated herewith that a God did not fix the number of years with 30 or 40 but that the number of years we live is determined by many evolutionary processes in our genes. And I missed a divine testimonal in the nature and found the turtles with lifespan of approx. 180 years. By which God demonstrates that not he did limit our lifespan but the evolution did it and we should not blame him. The desertgod (mountaingod) is on our side if the matters is the prolongation of life, option for eternity. What refers to the possible soon destruction: Learning from the turtles we shall responsibly not destroy our nature and we will sustain our planet, and remain cool, because for turtles there wont be a "Armageddon".

Environmentalists? Not Necessarily, Helping Nonetheless....

whether the average jw appreciates it or not (i certainly do not), the wtbts sure is helping in the environmentalists' movement of creating as much a paperless society as possible in order to preserve trees and create other favorable situations for humanity, such as avoiding so much trash and chemical waste involved in the printing/shipping process.. in order to help me adjust to this new phase within the org, i've reasoned it all this way.

anybody else recognizes that this going all out electronic/computerized is, of course, first a most profitable effort, but also has a secondary benefit of helping out to preserve the environment.......?!.

But how if for each JWs using a iPad once a year or for each 100 printed silversword-bibles they - the watchtower - would plant one tree or pay into a corresponding CO2 project.... that would be a wonderful witness and contribution to our climate and a good article in Awake.

Old Letter to the Governing Body

this is an older letter i wrote to the gb in october last year in regards to their policy around shunning of dissociated ones.

the letter doesn't focus on the disfellowshiped, but am in the process right now of writing to them regarding their recent watchtower on shunning disfellowshipped relatives.. the letter i wrote back in october rambles on a bit, but wanted to express my frustration to the governing body about their very unfair policy toward those who simply choose to leave.. regards.

I think I figured out their strategy with all the creepy videos

i came in during all the hype over 1975. the predictions about that date were the real driver behind all their activity.

since then, they haven't had a good goad to prod the sheep.

they seem to be smart enough not to try another date.. i think they plan to use fear instead.

Non-shunning stories - How fine!

From time to time I meet or see some of my former "sis" and "bros" doing a shopping, sometimes they even unassertively greet me or give the impression to be willing to have a small talk. Once I could speak about the fear of armageddon that are created in the publications and at conventions and how children react and the sis agreed me completely. She said that she would not show this stuff to her minors too. And she told me how good the JW were, because there are so many nice people. What would she tell me after this so called "fear mongering " convention and would she speak with me at all?

Please attend our regional weekly conventions, yes weekly, to take part in the "agricultural lessions" in which you learn to plant and choose food and to cook according the CO2-rules.
This year we cannot plant any sort of plant because of the bilance. That will be many years to come a day-to-day harmonisation, but with unified effort of Jehovah in mind people, we see a fine future.

9. Dont breed animals secretly. They produce much CO2 and in the new world the food will be only plants anyway. The subject is not that killing animals is unethical or that Jesus once was perhaps a vegetarian, but its simple a CO2-rule, if you dont agree to this rule, please speak with an elder, you shows you scriptural advice about loyality.

10. Only the kingdom rules can provide social rightousness and just distribution of the food, this means for you: dont be afraid of sharing food anylonger.

11. The ecological commensurability will force us to change our mode of life, Only if we all live according to this simple life earth will withstand and we can await and welcome hundreds of billions resurrected hier on earth. But withouth armagedon nothing would have changed. Actually armagedon was not a "killing" by God, but men destroyed their plant themselves. If we wouldnt have had our bunkers we would not have survived.
