Dr. Farrugia from Australia is part of WHO Blood regulators network.
Dr Albert Farrugia described the role of Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), which is a division of the Department of Health and Ageing. The TGA regulates the safety, quality and efficacy of therapeutic goods available in Australia and primarily operates under cost recovery arrangements. The main experience of the TGA is in pharmaceutical regulation. Emerging biological therapies have mostly been exempt from the regulatory authority of the TGA and therefore there is limited experience and difficulty in regulating therapeutic procedures that are closely aligned with medical practice or part of the public health.

Are Jehovah`s Witnesses of today, aware, or even care about their early history of the 1800`s ?
by smiddy inin the 1960`s when i was a new convert , a 20 year old , i devoured the book "jehovahs witnesses in the divine purpose" outlining the early history of the restoration of true christianity in the world.it helped to convince me then that this was indeed the true religion......not that i remember much of the details it contained nowadays .. i understand there was a poor attempt to mimic it with the " proclaimers " book a much sanitized version of the early history of the jw religion.
what reputable organization in the world ,secular ,religious or otherwise ,doctors their own early history/ beginnings unless they have something to hide or are ashamed of.. how many jw`s today would know that they were formed as the " international bible students association" in the late 1800`s , or that their first president of that association was none other than w.h.conley ,and not c.t.russell.. does it even matter ?
does anybody really care ?.

At high school I took yet religion class. One of the teachers a priest handed out information about miracle wheat and court orders against the Watchtower leaders what was typically for Russell and Rutherford's time. That was in the 80's. But even then I didnt take the accusations seriously nor did I question anything but got into baptism process.
I never read any critical books which were available, but I dont like to buy such books or read it. My real "interest" grew rather after I realized how many ex-jw exist in the world and are coping with this cult-abuse and how many are actively helping others to find out of a cult-treatmill into better life via those forums, meetings and other initiatives.

He went through that stuff very quickly. It was so fast I couldnt even make notes! Cause I wanna make sure that I interprete each scripture correctly after all
Is that how all bethel speakers are qualified in U.S.A. to speak about "personal" matters? I mean even accountants at bethel are talking about balances with much more heart and emotion like this man about health. This leaked video are nothing good for the society, the medical reputation of the Watchtower leaders and could be heavily questioned!!! And how much Jehovah much suffer if he listens of such incompetence among his witnesses.
I guess the listeners left that hall on the picture and lined up at the toilet or literature desk.
My elders had a better counsil: Do more in the service if you are depressed.
Apropos is the literature desk called yet so, if now we have gone online?

I found out that a german company is already offering a system for automatic bleeding control in ICU for hospitals. The company promotes its product with the standard benefits mentioned for a PBM. The company even cited Prof. Hofmann in a press release.
ROTEM is a german company that offers i.a. a ROTEM sigma - a system for automatic bleeding control that enables an improved patient blood managment. The product and methodology is explained on the company's page. https://www.rotem.de/en/products/rotem-sigma/
The benefits according to product folders:
- reduction of infection rate,
- reduction of hospital costs as well as
- mortality
Ensuring both, the quality and the supply of blood products is becoming increasingly difficult. This is leading to a more rational use of the limited resource “blood“ and to a critical view on the need of blood transfusions. Blood loss, anaemia and blood transfusions are independent predictors for worse outcomes and patients´ quality of life. This includes an increase in morbidity and mortality, as well as a prolongation of the average length of hospital stay. In short, transfusions typically lead to avoidable complications and costs. In this context, the targeted ROTEM®-based bleeding management is an integral part of Patient Blood Management that is predicated on both preemptive and reactive blood-saving measures. In fact, the WHO has encouraged all their 193 member states with the WHA 63.12 to implement the PBM concept in a timely mann
Under the BENEFITS of a Patient blood management you find:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0Ulmt0dcSQ
Blood is the most valuable liquid in the world
It transports oxygen, nutritional substances and connects our organs, playing a vital role in keeping us alive.
Blood donators give their blood to others and make it possible to save severely injured people and carry out large operations.
Meanwhile numerous multi-centric studies have shown that an unnecessary transfusion of allogenic blood products is associated with increased mortality, an increased complication rate (e.g. lung injury and kidney failure) and infection risk (e.g. nosocomial infection and sepsis).
Therefore blood should be seen as a drug with a clear indication and a significant range of adverse effects.
Due to the current demographic changes it becomes apparent that there is already a substantial shortage of blood products, which is based on a continuous and future decrease in suitable blood donors – while there is a growing need and steadily growing numer of surgical procedures.Further I found an interesting press release of the SIGMA company from 2015 which is citing Prof. Dr. Axel Hofmann about the advantages of PBM:
According to Dr. Axel Hofmann, visiting professor at the Department of Anesthesiology, University Hospital Zurich, improved disease course may be determined by the reduction or complete avoidance of the use of allogenic blood:
"The preservation of the patient's own blood during a surgical procedure often results in a lesser period of IICU stay and in the hospital. Moreover, the mortality and the risk of infection after surgery can be massively reduced. Consequently, also costs for the health system associated with a transfusion, for example, for the blood bank, laboratory operations, hospitalization or follow-up treatment can be avoided to a large extent through the use of effective bleeding management".___
Then I found on Qoutube a video in which Prof. Axel Hofmann is lecturing about the economic reasons that convinced the Western Australian Government to shift the paradigm and implement a PBM.
(Start at 11:20 to to hear about the cost factor)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJMaLcAWGNM
Further a published article about the economic considerations

Interesting yes, but doesn it puzzle you that a sect (Essenes) where in possession of the most holy scriptures at Jesus time? Would be the same as if J.W. would be in possession of the orginal Bible today and be the only scholars protecting text.... Ahh they the sect got only one exemplar of bible as gift and it remained because it was hidden and all other where destroyed and burned by the romans.

...and "abortion" is definied how according LEGAL DEPt.? Isnt J.W. against abortion and didnt they say in the watchtower that a fetus is a unborn child or at least a "LIVING ENTITY" that can see, hear.....has feelings?
This would be a double standard and hypocrisy about what is fetus
Standpoint in belief: killing fetus = already abortion
Standpoint of LegalDept of Watchtower.: killing fetus = no problem, is only a fetus

JW's Are All About Free Will Now
by pale.emperor infrom the january 2017 watchtower:.
first paragraph reads: when faced with making a personal choice, one woman told a friend: “do not make me think; just tell me what to do.
that is easier.” the woman preferred being told what to do instead of using a precious gift from her creator, the gift of free will.

To better understand what free will means for true christians let us not forget that Jesus used the word "other sheep" to picture his followers. According to a worldly definition of sheep taken applied in the financial sector:
„An investor who lacks a focused trading strategy and trades on emotion and the suggestions of others, including friends, family and financial gurus. This type of investor often makes rash investments without first determining whether these decisions are financially viable. The behavior of sheep contrasts with that of bulls and bears, who have focused views about the market. Like a sheep, this type of investor is a follower, relying on a shepherd for guidance. These shepherds can come in the form of financial pundits or the latest trend or market story. Sheep-like investors are often the last to get in on a major market move, such as the tech boom of the late '90s, because they base their investments on what is being talked about the most. Many experts believe that sheep-like investors are the most likely to sustain investment losses because they have no clear investment strategy."
Our shepherd Christ doubtless pictured christians as sheep in the greater fulfillment. The bellwether are a remnant of "Anointed Ones" who shepherd over and thus lead the free will of the sheep. The other sheep are followers, relying on the bell-wether for guidance. Other sheep can demonstrate sensful usage of free will by sustain losses of lifetime, savings and even former family-members by following the strategy of the anointed bell-wether who leads the other shep according to the latest market story
"Without clear investment strategy" other sheep donating savings to the bell-wether

Another: Who cries the loudest gets the best piece of the cake
or: Because they were fast & clever enough to invent a trojan horse (PBM) to get reputation and acceptance in medicine sector.
