Sep. 2021 Broadcast: more money
by neat blue dog inin the latest jw broadcast, anthony morris the turd gives a talk about donations.
to camouflage this, he starts and ends the talk by saying that isn't actually what he's doing.
first he starts with the usual disclaimer, 'wt has never begged for money like christendom and we never will', you know the drill.

There is a scheme. Once the money is donated, it becomes property of the WT (or it becomes holy) and nobody is allowed to use for anything. BoEs have no authority on that money. Since some time now, they request and push all congregations to transfer whatever they have in their hand to Bethel.
From my personal experience, there was a brother, had to be operated, but had not enough money and family coverage to get the operation. BoE decided to use the congregation's money for that urgent need, help the brother, but some of the elders' conscience "pricked them" and the next morning they called Bethel whether this decision was theocratically correct or not. Bethel replied, no you can't use the congregation's money and if you want to help the brother, 1. find his relatives 2. ask for private donations. Once the money is contributed, it is no longer touchable.
Congregations, innocently thinking all their donations are going to Bethel and used efficiently to help brothers/sisters in need worldwide.... I'm certain that when they say, they are helping and have helped XX thousand brothers/sisters financially, these must be the Bethel workers and special pioneers' monthly salaries.... Deception at work.

PIMO elder
by Reservations ini’m reservations, pimo elder.
i’m in no position to leave the organisation, maybe some people will see that as weak or whatever, but we have to all go down our own path in life.. i would like to be able to wake people up in my congregation, how do you think best to do this?
any ideas?.

Hi @Reservations, I'd also say to continue as much as you can and as @StephaneLaliberte pointed, you may use that status to help others, spread seeds of the truth, demonstrate genuine love, become the elder that everyone feels safe/approachable/friendly. Unlike PIMI elders, PIMO elders have nothing to lose, no strings attached ... which adds value, quality, power. Your talks and counsel can be far more refreshing, reaching hearts than PIMIs.
However, PIMI elders in your BoE will probably not like what you will become. The need to serve, worship the organization is strong with them. So, they or "reaching out ones" will look for your weak points (monthly report for ex.), so be very careful especially when you are giving comments, public talks or counseling, "for a bird of the air may carry your words, and a winged creature may report your speech." (Ecclesiastes 10:20).
In brief, keeping your post as an elder might be beneficial to you and the ones you may save in the long run.

Confidential Letter from the Watchtower to all full time servants.
by pistolpete inthis is a confidential letter for all full time servants like cos, regular pioneers, bethel and branch workers so please don't tell anyone about this.. reminder 20,000 jws have died of covid and 99% of those who died or were hospitalized in the united states branch territory were not vaccinated, so whose fault is that???.
my question, how did they get the information that all these 20,000 jws were not vaccinated?.
hint; if you want to continue to share in spiritual privileges--------------------get vaccinated.

Thank you @Carla!
I heard that HLC members received a letter last year about the biological contents of vaccines (aborted tissues etc.) and they are instructed to respond in a specific way in case a Witness comes asking them. If no one asks, they will not mention it. If asked, they will not deny but will reply in such a way that it is up to the Witness to do research and decide. This can be cross-checked easily with an HLC member near you.
WT, by only mentioning whether a vaccine contains blood fractions or not, is misleading witnesses, knowing that none of them will make their own research. If they were transparent, they would openly talk about the ingredients of vaccines and many witnesses would be well informed and would make an informed decision.

Covid Vaccine - Which One
by SadElder ini had just about decided to get the johnson & johnson vaccine and the issue of the guillain barre syndrome came up.
i realize it's a distant possibility but it gave me pause to reconsider.
i'm not fully onboard with the mrna method yet.. if you received the vaccine ..... which one, and can you share why that one?.

Any word on if the jws can take the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine?
by mynameislame inlooks like there's some controversy among the catholics because the j&j vaccine may be produced using a cell line derived from an aborted fetus.. have the jws made a statement?.
don't tell me they are going to let themselves be outdone by the catholics..

This very information is only revealed to HLC members, standard elders don't know it neither. HLC received a special guideline a few months ago regarding vaccines which answers this question. They will only mention this "aborted fetus" concerns if you ask them directly. No, they won't include this in the congregation announcements for all to hear, this information is secret.
If you have any HLC member nearby, test this: ask them whether should we take this ingredient issue into consideration or not?
Their answer is already ready. They can "neither-admit-nor-deny" this guideline and will tell "you are to decide based on your conscience" ... but hey, in fact you can't.

How to make memorial bread
by road to nowhere invideo in the meeting part.
i love the stereotypical jew actors, old world kitchen, yiddish accents.
reading the greatest man book instead of bible.. they did give a nod to non wheat flour but corn and rice would have been unknown at memorial no.

The way they show it looks like a ritual. Their Memorial is a ritual and preparing the bread is one another. No wine procedure though.
what was written on that "sophisticated" Memorial bread notes? Are they really caring or treasuring what Jesus commanded?
JW Notes for the bread:
1. Pray before starting
2. Take some flour, pray again. Open some Bible verses. Feel some holiness flow through you.
3. Put some water and mix it, but very very gently, like a massage. This is a holy bread. Give a prayerful thought on what it must be back then. Open and read some more verses.
4. Once the mixture is good, gently shape the dough and place it inside the four. It must have a round shape. Yes, you'll put some oil which is not mentioned in the Bible but, hey, are you not trusting the slave? Don't forget to meditate and meditate again and pray during cooking process. Important Note: The oven becomes holy during the process, so no other cooking should be allowed till sundown.
5. Once the bread is done, it should not be consumed before/after the memorial but discarded as waste. A small final prayer will be good, mentioning how we value this bread and we did not desecrated by eating it, as slave commanded.
And the Wine?
Same, but don't mix it with water and put inside oven. Pray before opening and pouring to toilet.
- Pharisees, version 2 - Ultimate Edition
And voila, you have successfully dishonored Jesus!

The Bible speaks of the "Unforgivable Sin" ? What is it ?

Matthew Poole's Commentary on Matthew 12:32
1. It cannot be any sin that is committed ignorantly. Paul was a blasphemer, but forgiven, because he did it ignorantly.
2. It must be a sin knowingly committed against the operations of the Holy Ghost. So was this sin of the Pharisees.
3. Apostasy must be an ingredient in it: If they fall away, saith the apostle, Hebrews 6:6. It is a sinning wilfully after the receiving the knowledge of the truth, Hebrews 10:26.
4. It should seem by this text persecution is an ingredient in it: the Pharisees did not only say this, but they spake it out of malice, designing to destroy Christ.
5. Most certainly it is, that though impenitency cannot be called that sin, yet it must be an ingredient in it, for what sins we truly repent of shall be forgiven, 1Jo 1:9; and therefore the apostle saith of such sinners, It is impossible they should be renewed by repentance. -

Studying the bible with my oldest kid
by StephaneLaliberte ini no longer believe in the bible as the word of god, but do appreciate the value in teaching it to my kids.
its teachings influence the life and culture of billions of people today and shaped the history of the world.
so, i bought a book that quickly goes over the core stories and have discussions about those with my kid.

I've found the extra books covers all these missing/suspicious parts of the Bible: Book of Enoch, Book of Jasher and The Apocrypha.
Your questions have their answers in the Book of Jasher. Of course everything can be debated, whether these books can be trusted as reliable or not. Personally I believe they are worth reading, very valuable and provide a deeper insight on the Bible itself by completing its missing parts ... They also show how and why the Bible might been cut, edited and even altered by religions in order to fit in their agenda. This doesn't mean the Bible and all these books should not have any value. They are worth reading.
So.. let the reader use his/her own judgment and discernment.
