This is exactly what I just went through. Just stay calm. Do you want to be DF'd? If so take them to task. You cannot reason with them, nothing matters except the Shepherd Book and loyalty to the Slave. MAKE them prove that you have caused a division! Make them bring in the person you stumbled. Yes, make them admit that you are marked for telling the truth if you can. It won't stop them, but it will strengthen your personal resolve that you are right! I will pray for you.

Sorry everyone. That was not appropriate. I can be passive-aggresive at times. That is a trait that I am not proud of. If King Solomon and I did fight, I would win. That is a scientific fact. Unless King Solomon can pass the BUDs exam and was raised by a " John Wayne " father. We are guys. We don't hold grudges, at least I don't. Some of the people I initially disliked the most in my life ended up being great friends, and loyal ones. That doen't mean punches were not thrown...sorry...

With the way the GB are tightening the scews, I would not be suprised if they officially set a minimum hour requirement for approved standing within the congregation. Unless the Elders officially say you have special circumstances that could allow you to get less service time, then you will be considered un-approved association. That official press release made me want to puke. Yes it is accurate to say " alleged " crimes and what have you, but the irregular label was to distance the alleged perp from the org. Kind of like Cadice Conti's abuser being called a rank-and-file member. He was an ordained minister. The WTBTS is two-faced, and will say anything to save face. You are probably right, low hours will put you on the watch list.

After reading Blondi's comment I have to agree. We are who we are despite the Organization, not because of it. Wanting to believe that it is a spiritual paradise is a fantasy. I see a few people attracted to the Organization, but I think it is individuals in a particular congregation that attract new ones. Would they have come into the org in another part of the world? It's hard to say, but still a little good from individuals doesn't change all the lies.

1) The repressed sexuality of JW's has boosted the porn industries income, and in turn " stimulated " the economy and provided jobs.
2) I saved alot of money by not pursuing higher education.....???
3) Not being afraid to be different. That is good no matter who you are.
4) I learned not to be selfish with my time. To be fair I believe that was because of old school family values, not really because of being a dub. There are plenty of people besides dubs who help others.
5) Learning how NOT to behave towards people of other religions ( That took awhile, and they taught my by their bad example and negativity. )
