September 15 2012 quote.
by DATA-DOG indoes anyone know what wt article the following quote came from?
i am interested in the context of the article, and as usual there is no source mentioned for the rank-and-file to check.. " brethren, those of us who are in the right attitude toward god are not disappointed at any of his arrangements.
we did not wish our own will to be done; so when we found out that we were expecting the wrong thing in october 1914, then we were glad that the lord did not change his plan to suit us.

We did not wish Him to do so. We merely wish to be able to apprehend His plans and purposes."
By the way in the same paragraph the GB humbly admits to not being inspired! How nice of them.

Why do the Jehovah's Witnesses accept the authenticity of "The Book of Daniel" but not that of Enoch's?
by I_love_Jeff inaccording to the jehovah's witness book called insight vol.
"authenticity.
some critics question the authenticity of daniel, assuming the position taken by a third-century heathen philosopher and enemy of christianity, porphyry, who contended that the book of daniel was forged by a palestinian jew of the time of antiochus epiphanes.

The Final Solution.. to the Anointed question.
by cyberjesus inthis cult who thought at some point that all of them were going to go to heaven realized that their numbers were growing therefore they had to create another group to explain the delay on their own rapture and their predicted end of the world.
they then created a separation of categories... the originals, the old ones, in other words the anointed, a selected groups that you cant be part of because only 144,000 are selected, so they had to come up with all sort of excuses why the end was not coming.
so many explanations to jesus words.. they were buying time, the end had to come at any moment, 1941... 1975... before the end of the century.... but at the last moment this cultish doctrine back fired on them... the number of the originals kept growing... these "divinely" (self) appointed group who wrote countless letter of bible interpretation to gods headquarters kept increasing.

Yep. I agree. CT Russel was wrong. He had a 100% failure rate. Rutherford had to buy time. " Why is the end not here?, Why weren't we raptured away. We are confused and getting older? The end should have been in our lifetime?". Rutherford moves in with the Heavenly hope ending and creates the Great Crowd, the perfect slave labor force. The cycle continues, failed prophecy and buying time. Tightening the reigns to perform damage control. Evil,Evil,Evil....

The internet as a means of circulating "spiritual food"?
by cedars ini've just finished adding an article to my blog entitled "jehovah now uses the internet to dispense new spiritual food!".
here is the link.... http://jwsurvey.org/cedars-blog/jehovah-now-uses-the-internet-to-dispense-new-spiritual-food.
my article briefly explores some of the reasons why the "new light" on the faithful slave and the manner in which it was circulated marked a radical departure from how spiritual food is normally circulated to the rank and file.

My question to you Cedar or anyone else is why?
Why? They are faint out of fear, not knowing the way out. They are getting desperate in my opinion. They must use the internet because they cannot stop it. All they can do is intimidate the sheep into fearing any site but theirs. They are doing a fine job at that. Look for many DF'ings to come. Why? Brazen questioning of the SLAVE. I believe they know full well that they are losing their control over the sheep. What can they do except damage control? Cedars,I will read your article asap.

Watchtower using MK Ultra/Monarch programming?
by NoStonecutters ini have always wondered if the watchtower, being a major player in the brainwashing industry, is part of or incorporates mk ultra programming.. for those not familiar with it, project mk ultra was an illegal cia mind control program that apparently still exists unofficially through monarch butterfly programming.
childern are often the victims of this program, as social engineers and psychological operators found that sexually and physically abusing children produced traits beneficial to the intelligence community, like photographic memory and amnesia (good for carriers of secrets and sensitive information).
monarch programming also produces candidates for manchurian operations.. anyways, it seems that the cia could definitely benefit by using the watchtower to carry out some of this programming, as the structure of the watchtower kingdom halls makes it easy for predators to abuse kids with impunity.. i did a search on this forum and found at least one person who claims to have been a victim of this, if i am reading correctly.

I for one expect a phone call any day from DUSO the Dolphin, at which time I will perform my programming...... seriously..
Cagefighter! I just toured a gym and got a free weeks pass. They are a Old School gym with emphasis on MMA ( I was mma before they had a word for it) training. I will be hitting the bag again with other people, instead of all alone in my garage!
I don't know about people infiltrating the KH, I think they are just dumb there. The Government has better prospects out there. On an interesting side note I met a man we will call " Steve ". He was ex-Special Forces. He claimed that the Columbine shootings were a result of one of the boys Father experimenting on him. Allegedly the Father was very familiar with MK-Ultra protocols. It is total rumor, but creepy if true.

The wise admit that they know nothing
by yadda yadda 2 inwhen asked who was the wisest man, socrates said, "i know one thing, that i know nothing".. i can definitely say that what i thought was immutable truth 25 years ago is not what i now believe.
the older i get, the less certain i am of what is definitely true.. ageing and life experience teaches us in the end that we really know nothing.
life is very humbling.. do you agree with socrates?.

Any marriage can be great or fail. Religion can be a factor in stability or instability. The parties involved make a difference individually. What are you each willing to give, or give up. Are there children? That is a factor. This is an interesting question. I don't believe there are any more pros to being a dub than being any other type of person. Here are some cons:
1) Married too young because you believe that you will never get old.
2) Believing things won't get boring because the end is soon.
3) Not having enough education and struggling to support your family because you believe the end is soon.
4) Never really being there for eachother 100% because you are devoted to a religion that teaches the end is coming soon.
5) Neither party knowing who they are because they never found out, because they did not experience life because the end is coming soon.
6) For some never knowing the joy of children because you are devoted to a works based faith that teaches the end is coming soon.
7) The sadness of not even being able to confide in your mate because they are devoted to a religion that teaches the end is coming soon.
8) Having your mate trust outsiders ( Elders/CO/DO/GB ) more than they trust you because these men say the end is coming soon.
9) Having outsiders support the uncriptural view of " absolute spiritual endangerment " as grounds for separation. Having you mate, if female, attempt to take over as the spiritual head of the household because you no longer believe the lies. Knowing the Elders are ready to fully support whatever decision they make, enabling their victim role, allowing them to destroy your marriage, all because you no longer believe that the end is coming soon.
