  Peer pressure, friends were all baptized, elder's wanted to use me, I was unofficially dating a witness girl who was a pioneer, and I was next inline in my family. I was baptized on November 30, 2003 at the age of 17. I had no knowledge about its history, false prophecies, Pyramidology, 586 vs 607, generation teaching, UN involvement, 1919, what Jesus approved of in 1919, (insert negative fact here).

  I was scammed in the worst way, my intellectual and spiritual integrity robbed through fear and information control.

  15 one brother who was raised in a christian household wrote that for as long as he could remember, he struggled with homosexual tendencies.

  any gov agency or private company that has private personal info of customers/clients should be aware.

  its common knowledge to long time witnesses that jws will violate customer privacy laws and rules when they see something a customer does or buys that they think jw congregation elders should know about .

  Ray Franz discusses this in 'In Search of Christian Freedom', he documents a case where a doctor had a jw patient come in because she claimed to have received an STD. Unfortunately, the doctor had a JW employee who disclosed this private info to some elders and the jw patient got DF'ed.

  So yes, I believe to a certain degree that all doctors should ask during an interview if a religious affiliation can/would jeopardize the privacy rights of a patient.

  of course even people with novice level bible understanding know that paul had a "thorn in the flesh", what they may not know, or not have bothered to also observe is the bizarre language with which was used to convey this thought.. "turn with me in your bibles please to 2corinthians 12:7" <----lol.

  an "angel of satan" was sent to paul.......hmmm, were the writers of the bible apostates?

  they called satan's minion an angel?

  2 Corinthians is composed of around 2-5 letters smashed together. It is sometimes pointless to try and understand its context.

  so it has been over a month, maybe closer to two that i haven't attended a meeting.

  my stress level has gone way down, and my life is pretty good right now.

  well as you know, there are tons of nosy witnessess.

  Being "stumbled" is a great response. I have personally used this angle to say that I have gotten word of some gossip (which is true). I have since then turned this into a depressive stumbling situation by saying, "I am waiting on Jehovah, he knows what I am going through."

  Use their own conversation stoppers against them like; "Waiting on Jehovah"--"I am putting this into Jehovah's hands now"
