I respect the efforts but I feel it was very aggressive and untactful. Witnesses don't repond well to be being told how they are wrong, they discover it by being asked questions that lead to irreconcilable answers.

Qualifications for Gods Sole Channel--interesting article from the meletivivlon site
by Jon Preston inqualifications to become gods channel of communication[this article was contributed by apollos].
the new teaching of the appointment of the faithful and discreet slave has arguably made 1919 an even more important date to jehovahs witnesses than 1914. appendix b1 of the revised nwt bible shows a time line of the message of the bible in relation to gods rulership.
it is of note that the official doctrine of the establishment of gods kingdom in 1914 is not even mentioned only that satan was cast down around that time.. ever since the 1919 doctrine was announced at the 2012 agm, and subsequently published in the july 15th watchtower 2013, the appointment of the slave seems to have become a much more prominent topic in our teaching, and indeed in general discussion among witnesses.. of course we should remind ourselves that this new level of interest really has nothing to do with the date, and everything to do with the nature of the appointment.

What was taught as truth and "food at the proper time" during the supposed judgment window of 1914-1919 is about 90% abandoned now. If you go back and read the publications of that time period they were preaching worldwide false prophecies. Talk about bringing reproach on Jehovah's name during a time of divine inspection. It truly takes a mentally diseased person to continue believing in the 1919 appointment after learning all that was taught then.

Active JW's, can you defend "THE TRUTH?"
by DATA-DOG inas of yet, no member of the jehovah's witness faith can defend their unique beliefs.
when the dust settles, it all comes down to blind faith in men's ever-changing ideas.
this "unique belief" was not a "true teaching of the bible.

If there were a religion out there with a similar past to the Watchtower, they would tar and feather it ad nauseam.

The judicial committee process is not found in the bible. Things were brought before the congregation to decide whether a wrong do'er was to be shamed for lucid acts. It was not left up to 3 congregants to decide the social fate of a Christian. The idea is completely absent.
