I wish you would have not assumed because I have a
more liberal view that I only know one side of the issue
ww77,
I should not have assumed, for that I am sorry.
I would love to debate your views with you sometime

It is sick that some people do not give a shit about the enviroment as long as they get money
WW77,
I agree with everything that Dakota Red has stated, does that
mean I dont care about the enviroment? I have talked to
you enoungh that you know I personally spend more
more time in the "enviroment" than perhaps anyone else here
on the board. Whenever I get into a debate with someone
over the enviroment, especialy over my favorite issue, National
Forrest usage and Wilderness I find that liberals have only
ever heard one side of the issue. And that is always the one-sided
view point of radical enviromentalists and media.I DO care about
the enviroment but I also care about people and jobs.
dear kenny,.
happy happy birthday.
you were warned.
This is Kenny,
slag off us brits?.
i read all these posts (mainly by a couple of cuddly norwegians) about how the us needs to get it's act together, then there's a flurry of ripostes, the occasional nasty dig, a few generalisations and then the whole thing peters out until some bright spark feels the urge to start off the mischief once again.. well, im sick and tired of belonging to a perfect race and living in a perfect country.
the uk obviously has the best economy, the best soccer teams, the best monarchy, the best teeth, the best cuisine, the best weather, the best tv, the best armed forces, the best penal system, the best paranoids,.
Feeling leftout?
1. how do you break a norwegian's finger?
punch him in the nose.
2. why did the norwegian circle his block 58 times?
Two Norwegian men were sitting behind a woman
on a bus."Emma come first," one of the men
said to the other. "Denna I come. Two asses,
they come together. I come again. Two ass-
es, they come together again. I come again
and pee twice. Then I come oncea more."
"You pigs," the lady yelled. "In this country
we don't talk about our sex lives in public!"
"Hey,coola down, lady," the one man said.
"Imma justa tellun my friend howa to spella
Mississippi."
it is indeed strange, yet understandable to observe the "kneejerk" reactions you get when you point out possible .
flaw's with the mighty us of a, "god's own country".
even from people who should have learned not to have that .
fodeja,
If you dont understand nationalism, how can you even
begin to assume that I dont? I take pride in the fact
that I live in the United States, plain and simple.
How can you even begin to assume that "all" my information
comes from T.V.? There is so much news about what is
going on in our own country, that your right, we dont
get to hear all the happenings in your little neck of the
woods.
The example I used of not wanting to live in Afganistan,
is based on the fact that of all the "enemy" they captured
there, there was only one American that had joined them.
It doesnt seem that our whole country is defecting to
Afganistan to live. You dont see people fleeing this country
because of the attack on Sept 11th. You seen this country
band together and help one another.
If I am so uneducated about the country in which you live,
perhaps you could tell me which country it is that I know
nothing about.
The one thing you stated that I agree with is "IT TAKES ALOT
TO MAKE PEOPLE MIGRATE" yes thats true. this country is founded
on that very thing. People came here because aparently their
"homeland" wasnt the greatest place to live. They moved here.
And guess what, they didn't move back.
so, you witnessed in war-torn countrys. Sounds like a
great place to live.Tribes and villiages fighting with
each other. People being robbed of everything. Sounds
like thats a hell of a great country to live in. I'll
have to plan a trip there someday. As soon as the television
news lets me know its safe there, and of course, if I can
manage to pry myself away from sports.[8>]
ring who ever you are.
cowboy is more then capable of speaking for himself and already has.. as far as how much i post.
i never keep track.
I read it, but all I heard was
Blah!Blah!Blah!

plmkrzy,
I believe Cowboy's post was more directed at cellomould's
post than yours. The comment cowboy was making about
being "free to leave" is directed towards the U.S.
posters that are unhappy in this country. Being free to
leave is a right we have in this country. I think
sometimes you get so caught up in trying to be the most
active poster all the time, your posts get skipped over
by alot of readers here because its obvious your posting
before you know the entire story. You haven't been here
very long, so maybe for once you should shut-up and
try to learn something. When I see your posts, all I see
is blah!blah!blah!
Cello,
When you actually have a real job, come back and post on work
standards in this country. Are you not still in school?
fodeja,
If you didnt have pride in your own country
you wouldn't keep making threads and posts about
why you personally think the U.S. isn't the country
it's proud citizens believe it to be.
I am proud to live in this country. I dont need to
travel to the Middle East or Africa to know I would
rather not live there. I do watch the news. I would
love to see one woman on this forum say she would rather
live in Afganistan than the United States. Or maybe
even a man perhaps? Since the September 11th attack on
the United States, I have seen more and more bashing
of our country on this forum and in the chatroom. I wonder
if those planes would have crashed into your country if
your people would have fought back, or laid down and took
it in the ass and asked for the United States to come
their rescue.
