  Watch "Dateline" on Tueday, May 28th!!

  i think that it is very important that the word goes out to everyone who can hear that "dateline" is doing a report on the problem of child molestation in the organization, and how it's been routinely covered up.. there will be former and currant members interviewed, and they even show an "awake!

  " article!.

  check "dateline's" web site for further details.. this is important since we all know that nothing we say holds any water with the jws..and they're not "allowed" to view our web sites...but what can they say about national television?!!.

  yeah.

  so i told my mother i have been dating stephanie or close to year.... she flipped.

  i know that she wouldn't agree with it but now she won't call me at all or anything.. she made me feel so guilty and dirty but i shouldn't.... whatever.. i am confused.. love ya bunches,.

  I'm New - my story

  hi everyone, i too have been lurking for a few weeks and thought it was time i made myself known.

  i am not a jw but i am married to a man who is from a multi-generational family of jw's (although he has not been to meetings since he was old enough to object).

  although i have never had any direct involvement with the organisation itself, i find my life is constantly infulenced by these people who judge, shun and avoid my husband and i (i guess they don't want to mix with "worldy people" such as us).

  my heart is pounding so fast right now...... (takes deep breath).

  ok.......... the house across the street stayed empty a long time.

  finally it was bought and soon rented out to what appeared at first, a group of college kids.

  well i had a visit today from an elder (related through marriage) about my non-meeting attendance.

  he let me know that the circuit overseer is due in for a visit in 2 weeks and the elders in my congregation felt that it would be good for them to pay me a visit.

  i have already declined other such offers.. he asked me why i was not attending the meetings (didn't reply to that) and that if i had a problem that i could talk about it.

  Starting College -- HOORAY for ME!!!

  i am just so excited.

  earlier this week i applied for admittance to my local community college and today i registered for my first class!.

  (one class for the summer session to see how this college stuff plays out.).

  ha, never thought you'd see a post with that as a title...... anyway, i thought credit should be given where credit is due, for his removal of my personal pic when someone who calls themself "bigdaddy" posted it in a thread on kent's site.

  i don't know who this "bigdaddy" person is, or how they got my pic.

  how strange they weren't "big" enough to use their real name.
