JWs may go only to JW.org. However I suspect most casual visitors will also stumble here and jwfacts etc.. And this will turn them off from any further dealings with the witnesses. People are just too Internet savvy I think, for large numbers to fall for the JW.org hustle

who left the BORG after finding out about "Conspiracy Theories" ???

im new here on the forum.

i been "dissasociated" for about a year n a half.

i left after reading the bible cover to cover and discovering the truth about 9/11, illuminati, masons, witchcraft, new world order, paranormal activity, ufos, etc.

Learning about some of these so called "conspiracy theories" did help me down the road to finding out tatt. The WT does not tell its members the truth about many world issues. I thought, if they are supposed to be directed by God, how do they not know enough to warn about GMO food, flouride in the tap water, false flags etc? It got me thinking, so I guess the answer to your question would be yes it helped me mentally exit.

1st Time in 3 Years JW's call at our Door - Two 30 yr. long Time JW's

i thought i was back on the jw radar after my jw daughter had a local elder call on me back in 2011 - but apparently not.

he obviously didn't let his elders know i lived here, no record was kept for posterity and just called my daughter telling her that her " dad has differences with the organization " because he never called back on me as he promised to talk again.

as i'm just inactive for 10 years.. so these two older jw ladys come knocking yesterday - one lady about 57 and the other lady older about 71 yrs.old ( i asked how long they had been jw's and told me they both have been in 30 years.

Wonderful comment RF! The thing with your comment is, that it is true and any JW would have to admit that it is true. If the Israelites blindly followed Aaron all the time without thought or question, they would have lost their lives! At least with Aaron, according to the Bible they had PROOF of God backing him. With the WT leadership they have NO proof.

They sure do seem to be tightening their grip little by little.. If you google cult warning signs, JWs fit almost every one to a tee.

i cant decide if i want to curse or hug and kiss all the friends on jwn for giving me a bite of the red pill and allowing me the clarity i never had growing up.

we were raised one hundred-percent cult and our family obeyed all the rules that we could, some rules from the cult my mother refused to obey for a greater-good, like humanity, helping disfellowshiped ex-jws who were poor or depressed, she did not follow the cult's code of treating weak or mentally ill people like shit.

Governing Body Hollywood JACKASSERY

hollywood likes to make movies "inspired by" actual persons and events.. when they do, many critics point to the various facts which have been changed in the creation of the film.

a male character may be transformed by screenwriters into a female.. the actual location of the true incident becomes a different country altogether.. a tall person may be portrayed by a short actor.. the decade of the true incident may be switched to a totally different time period.. names are changed and characters may be added or removed.. things never spoken are quoted as though actual.

motives are suddenly attributed to people opposite to reality.

One year since my Judicial Committee with JW elders - Transcribed finally!

well it took a loooong time to do, but i have typed up all 29,000+ words and made a transcript.

it has been a year and a month actually since i went in and let me them df me, and it feels great to be out of watchtower!!!!.

i just finished reading the letter at www.annointedjw.org, in which they respond to the new bible and its commentary.

interesting opening paragraph: .

"while we can appreciate the decision to revise some of the language to conform to a more modern understanding, we are quite at a loss as to why you would interject so much commentary of your own into such a sacred writing.
