  i agree that if they feel that something is wrong with rick then they are certainly shooting the wounded - but that is typical cult behaviour - they learnt this as jw's .... they just haven't learnt the compassion they so much desired to see within the organization themselves yet.

  in the original post you put "shooting the wounded" in bold letters, effectively showing that you posted that diatribe in order to make people who were denouncing rick and his methods of moderating his forum.

  Maybe we'd quit snapping if YOU'D JUST ADMIT YOU'RE GUILTY! I am truly angry that in every post back, you have tried to put the fault on the people you have wronged, rather than be an adult an admit your own guilt. YOU signed these people up to your list without their request! Now please admit it! You're just making yourself look worse by avoiding it and trying to put the blame on everyone to take themselves off your list, instead of accepting the responsibility for putting them on there in the first place! Jan, that's called irresponsible and being in denial. Plain and simple.

  The question remains, Claudia, did you PUT YOURSELF ONTO HER LIST?
  Most of the people I have talked with about this problem never asked to be on the list in the first place.

  Oh, and on the subject of Co-dependency? I don't think Jan is co-dependent. I think she's obsessive/controlling and in deep denial of her own behavior problems. Otherwise, she wouldn't have any trouble owning up to what she's done regarding subscriptions to her email list.

  Do you legally join the WatchTower Society ?

  there has been some discussion in the past on whether people became legal members of the watchtower society or not when they got baptised and whether this was made clear to them.

  the wt argues that you are or are not a legal member as it suits them.. here is a thought.... on their website's privacy statement at http://www.watchtower.org/contact/privacy.htm (linked from the 'request contact' form) they say:.

  will the watchtower society disclose the information it collects to outside parties?.

  It'll be interesting to find out what they have to say, huh? If I may ask, what is your Status at this point in the Organization? Any changes since you started the forum?

  As far as I know, I'm still listed as inactive, but you never know. Maybe I should request my records.

  Nice page! I don't agree that we should "walk on eggshells" regarding the parents of those children's feelings. They made the decision to let their children die without proper treatment and be glorified on the pages of the WackyTower's mags. They have to accept the consequences of that behavior. Go for it!

  i was wondering what some of you might make of this.

  a friend of mine who is still somewhat active just told me about something interesting that happened in his congregation a week or two ago during the wt study.

  a publisher raised his hand to comment and related an experience he had while doing magazine work in a parking lot (ugggghhhh!!!

  What was very telling is that the entire congregation was left speechless, not knowing what to say. It was like their programming went off-kilter, "This does not compute".. lolol They had to switch the program back onto the right track to get on with the study. bwahahaha..

  Nice answer. I think I'll try it sometime!
