My engagment ring and matching wedding band. I have some gold chains and a couple of diamond rings and some semi precious jewelry but nothing comes close to the value of the rings I wear on my left hand. I worry about getting mugged one day.

I miss my dad and I can't stop crying about it
by Velour inso recently, i've had this urge to write to my father.
i couldn't quite pinpoint why i would try when i know he wouldn't read it and we aren't even that close.. over the years, before i left, my father and i could not relate to each other and we quit trying.
he was always so busy writting and preparing for talks.

It's okay to cry over your dad. And believe it or not, he is probably crying over you. I'm willing to wager if you give it enough time, things will work out. It did for me and my dad.
Why not make the first step towards reconciliation and send him a letter telling him what you told us? I wouldn't, however, bring up your religious differences. Concentrate instead on the interests you have in common and on all the good times you shared together. Let him know you miss him and would love to see him again.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I prayed for a Kitty today
by pedal power inme and my wife,a non jw,took her 3 year old country cat to see the vet in edinburgh, i left her at the vets with the cat and went to work, i gave her 20 pounds and told her to get a cab into town to meet me at work.
the vet removes the chicken bone from the cats throat,{the little bastard stole it ,when we were not looking} anyway she gets a bus with cat into town, cost only 1 pound, she does not get cab she keeps 19pounds.
typical, only the cat manages to wriggle out the basket,on princess street, terrified runs helter skelter accross 2, 4 lane highways, avoiding buses taxis, ect, my wife terrified screaming down the phone at me,to come and protect and save her beloved cat.f__k ,my whole world was collapsing before me, i prayed that kitty would live, my wife is sensitive, and she would have been inconsolable had the kitty died on her watch, so i ran out of work, drove through red lights, and prayed, that the little cat survived.

SA, thank you for the update. When I saw the comments I became concerned because of Fark's health problems. It relieves me to know he is okay and on vacation. If you communicate with him before I do, please send him my love. Oh, and my father's well wishes too. Farkel's posts played a prominent part in my dad leaving the org. I will always love and admire Farkel for that.

It was evident from the start that the evidence was circumstantial. It was so obvious, I soon tired of reading and/or hearing about the trial. I feel badly about Caylee but there is no evidence proving murder and no evidence that Casey murdered her daughter. The jury made the correct verdict.

Why Do I Desire Fast Food Late At Night?
by Broken Promises ini'm a bit of an insomiac, although i make up for it later in the afternoon.. but i've noticed, usually around 1am, 2am and even now at 3am, i feel like some fast food, like kfc or mcdonalds(also known affectionately in australia as maccas).
the fast food joints aren't open this late at night (except for maccas on the weekends) so it's not like i can go out and get some (or fast food for that matter).
i do have some food that i munch on, although i'm not going to go to the trouble of making a chicken burger at 2am!!.
